I'm with love on this one. april-hmm, maybe next month. Why do you think this month is so weird for you?

Hello everyone, I've been a bit quiet our internet only fully got connected a few days ago so I'm definitely back on board now. I think I have a chance this month but I want to know what you guys all think? I'm currently 12dpo, af is due on July 4th I have been nauseous throughout the day for the past week now, I've only vomited once though but have been dry reaching. My b___bs are SO sensitive, even just the feel of clothes when I don't have a bra on makes me go through the roof, this is something unusual for me, I normally don't have any breat tenderness before af I also have had a case of thrush, which I've heard from a couple of people can happen during the first trimester from rising hormones and things.. I think it's way too early to be experiencing these things at 12dpo, but taking inspiration from confused, I was thinking what if I was pregnant last month but got a period anyway? Let me know what you guys think, I don't want to test just yet I'm riding a high from the thought of being pregnant, don't want a BFN to wreck it Conrgatulations confused!! How is everyone else doing?

Update- Went to the doctor today and they said my left ovary was swollen and they scheduled me for an ultra sound on the 14th. I hope everything is okay. They are going to monitor me for the next couple of months to see if I am ovulating. If I don't then they are going to start me on Clomid in November. I pray that everything is okay. I am very worried:( Please say a little prayer for me. Thanks everyone!!!! Congrats on the BFP confused!!! I am very excited for you:)

This month was weird because my temps were all over the place, i had no s_x drive which is unusual for me, I had terrible hot flashes (I'm anemic so I'm usually cold), and the list goes on this just wasn't my month. My body is acting as if its sick or something. Anyways Im still optimistic about next month. Congrats Confused on your BFP i wish you luck!!!

Alc- I'm no expert but it sounds promising. Good idea, not testing just yet. Wait until the day after AF is due, if you can hold out longer, all the better. Simone- I wonder why your ovary is swollen..? How long have you been ttc, again? April- Maybe it's just an odd month. I hope nothing is wrong, the body does weird things sometimes. Here's to hoping for next month!! update- I broke down last night feeling pretty sorry for myself. One of my friends told me that he may be a daddy in 9 months, they're 95% sure his lady is preggo. Granted I'm very happy for them, but it just reminded me that I've been trying for so long (it feels), and "everyone is getting pregnant but me" I'm feeling better today though. I have my step daughter and when she's around, it makes everything so much better. I can be a mom. My dh asked me why it's so important that I get pregnant... I can't answer him with a good answer. I just do. It's not even the whole having children thing, entirely. I just want to be pregnant, then the end result is so wonderful! It would be my first child, but having my step daughter tells me how rewarding it can be, and I want it more. DH is so supportive, telling me he'll always be here for me, for me. He didn't marry me for the kids... OPK today is finally positive though! My temp went up today too... is the O temp supposed to stay up and slowly go down? This is my first month tracking my temp so i'm not sure what it's supposed to do. We'll see what this month brings! Baby dust to all!

Hi Pika! I'm on my second month charting; now on cd2; Estrogen controls your temp during your pre-ov phase; the 'cool' hormone; once you ov your body produces 'progesterone' - the 'warm' hormone; your temps should become elevated the day after you o (unfortunate thing about temping; can only CONFIRM that you actually ovulated-after the fact!)Some ppl have a small dip before the surge which is awesome because you get a little more advance notice then the big surge (although some ppl only have a small surge). Have you bd'd alot the past few days? I have started using my OV watch yesterday; I urge everyone on here to check out the website ovwatch dot com. The beauty of this unit is it will give you 4 days advance notice of ovulation; 4 days of stockpiling sperm so you have a good supply waiting for the egg! I've read the testimonies and many people said they didn't think the watch was working because they used it and by cd 20 they were still not getting a 'fertile day 1' signal; turns out they ovulated later than they thought, hence why no pg! Many people acheived pg the first month they used it; some 2nd month and one the 4th month. I can see my dh's fishing trip screwed our chances last month because we could only bd on the day of OV. I'm hopeful this month will be different. I wear the watch at night while I sleep, then keep it in my drawer ready to put on the next night while I sleep. It takes readings every half hour of chloride coming off your skin; 4 days before ov, it will tell you 'fertile day 1' and continue until OV happens. The initial cost for me was $100 - this included the watch itself and one sensor. The sensors are about $40 to re-order and one sensor is required for each cycle - so $40 a month. I think about what I've spent on opk's, between 35 and 50$ for each kit - and testing only once a day, leaving the possibility of not enough advance notice before o. So you can test twice a day, which would mean $70 - $100 for each cycle, which would basically put you at the cost for the ov watch! This was my reasoning when i decided to bite the bullet and purchase one. I can handle $40 a month and hope for better results than I've been getting. With any luck I won't have to purchase one for next month!

Hey Love! Sorry I haven't checked in, been keeping up with everyone via e-mail though. I was home sick yesterday with a migraine and MAJOR cramps (AF came) and because of the one day out, I've been SWAMPED at work. I'm leaving in 1/2 an hour so figured let me get my b___t over here and update ya'll. So, I'm out, which I'm fine with. Congrats on the BFP Confused!!!!! This is cd 13, if I ov, it's right on schedule from last month. I'm working nights this weekend so it may be tough getting a good temp, but we'll see. -hug- I love talking to you guys. lexy- thanks for the update. sorry about the af, but at least you're not heartbroken like I was last month. It's easier that way. I'm somewhat okay with not getting pg yet, because DH and I have a trip to Hungary to go to next month! I'm so excited! we leave Aug 1 and will be back on the 11th... that'll be during my next 2ww after this month's. So hard to believe, it'll be my first time out of the country. Anywho, time to get some shut-eye before tonight's work. Good luck ladies!

Hi Ladies, Update My temp shot up today so maybe i ovulated late. I won't be able to tell until sunday though. Fingers crossed:) Pika- Three high temps in a row signals ovulation( as long as its above the coverline) for ex. my temp today is 97.83 my coverline is 97.6 my temp has to be above this 97.6 for at least three days which is a sure sign of ovulation. And usually my temp climbs higher after ovulation for about five days and then slowly begins to go down and right before AF i have a nose-dive to below coverline but it is different for everyone and you should really wait until the end of the cycle to piece together the puzzle:) Lexy sorry about AF i'm praying for you for next month. hmm... how do you figure out what your coverline is? love, sorry I didn't answer your question earlier.. yes we have bd'd a lot the last few days. we had a break on wednesday but have every day (not necessarily trying, that's just how our drive is when it's HIS time of the month) Hoping he'll get home so we can bd before I go to work, but it's not looking promising, I'm afraid we'll miss it this month, because I work nights tonight and tomorrow, we've only bd'd in my fertile window last night, and it's hard to do anything with a 4 year old keeping us busy all day ^_^ hi ho hi ho, it's off to work i go

The easiest way to find your coverline is to wait until you know you've ovulated and count BACK 6 DAYS from ovulation. Find your highest temp and draw the line 1/10 above the highest temp for ex. My highest temp before ovulation is 97.5 which mean I was draw my coverline at 97.6 which is 1/10 higher than the highest temp. So I would wait until you know you've ovulated. Hope this helps!!

Hi ladies!! Confused, congrats!!! Alc! So excited to hear... 2 days left! Keep us posted!! Well, cd 6 here, af just ended.... When I got on here, dh and I weren't ttc just knew we had s_x unprotected during fertile time... Made me want bb #2 tho!!! I think I'll be sticking around! I think for the next month or so we'll just b low key about it and not try too hard but def not prevent... Then maybe I'll start charting again. :) well, also I wanted to tell you ladies a few things. 1) cheap reliable ph tests and opk strips at "early pregnancy tests. Com" 2) when I was on here bfor I got pg w my dd there was some buzz about not using tampons during af when ttc... It is thought that it does something to the ph balance in ur v____a that harms the sperm... I was horrified at the thought of using pads but I did one af and that cycle I got prego! Dunno if it had anything to do with it but it may be worth a shot?! Good luck everyone! Bd like crazy!
