The waiting games sucks, but we really have to just hang in there. I decided not to test, I think it was meant for me to wait. Im thinking of going to the doctors and asking for Provera to bring on AF. I was not really trying either, but after the missed AF......having another baby really stuck to me. I do want her to have a sibling close to her age. My sister and I are 17 years apart.

Hey Ginger , the waiting game sucks big time! Still No sign of af though i was sooo tempted to test today, but nooo, i gotta be strong ! LOL Why would u want to take Provera to bring AF if ur not sure ur pregnant or not ? go on girl, test ,u might be! How long have u been off bcp ? do u think it could have messed up ur cycles ? I think it's best to have them close in age, my sis is 10 yrs younger & i feel more like her lil mama, u know ? My kids are 8&4( 9&5 this yr, so it's not too bad ! )

I heard some where that Provera is safe is you are pregnant and nothing will happen if you are pregnant. But if you are not pregnant than it would start your period. Im afraid to test and get a BFN, then I will be even more stressed out about what could be wrong. I took BC for only a month and that was back in Jan, 2004. I do feel like Im a mother figure to my sis. Sometimes I feel as if she is reluctant to have that girl talk relationship with me. 9 & 5 are graet ages. They are not too close together or too far apart. I know, I need to be a bit stronger when it comes to testing.

Hi Ginger, how are oding today ?I don't know where u heard about Provera during pregnancy, but i personnally wouldn't take anything until i'm sure i'm not pregnant. R u telling me that u never conceived for all that while ? it's been more than a year now, i don't really know much about provera so i can't say .My mom is a bit "tight" , so to my sis , i'm like the "cool" mom , she tells me things she can't tell my mom or asks me to talk to mom when she gets to strict about things, it's cool. I know what u mean, i'm on day 35 now, and still no apparent sign of AF.Like u , idon't wanna test, cos' i keep thinking she might come, but i'm reaaally tempted. I know the sooner we find out, the better it is for our babies ( especially if we are farther along than we think ). We could well be 3 or 4 mths preggo already, and we would be amongst the rare w/m that test + much much later into our pregnancy! Come on girl, test , u need to know > ( look who's talking ? i know , i know....LOL )

Yea I was thinking since it is taking so long, that I may need some fertility drugs. I suppose I may have had an m/c last aug, but I did not get it confirmed with a doctor. If Im pregnant, what could be making the tests come up negative? I know I need to test. I might try again this weekend. You should definately test.

Hi Ginger, sorry to hear about ur "possible" m.c.Ur asking me an excellent question, if i knew i'd tell u ! I tested this morning and again -ve, i just don't get it ! I know now that i am pregnant, because i can feel some "contractions" as well and my belly is showing more and more and the flutters are definately not in my head. There was a post somewhere ( i can't find it, but desperately trying to ),where the woman, her name is Melanie, she is expecting twins, and had -ves after -ves, on HPT's & blood tests, her dr would not beleive her, but turned out she's having 2 babies in her belly, Her HCG was too low to show on tests ( even though she has twins). Weird, cos i'd like to know also. I beleive these are babies miracles !

i dont mean to but in but i thought this may help. i was told by my midwife when i was carrying my little boy that after 6 weeks of pregnancy (4 weeks after you start shwoing) the fetus stops producing as much hcg so its very difficultto test. by then people wiould generally know they are pregnant because it startsto become obvious. if you guys are possibly 4 months pregnant, maybe thats why your not getting the positive now. as for previously, maybe your body just didnt want to give any of that hcg away. tell it to share lol

Welcome Mika! Thanks for the info. Hi Coco! For some odd reason I was not able to post on here for the last couple of days. I came back to this old thread because the part Mika was saying about HCG got me really thinking. When I was pregnant with my DD it took 8 weeks before I got a positive test. Maybe that happened because My HCG was too high. My doc gave me no explanation to why it took so long to get a positive. Everytime I went in to a prenatal apt. he had me do a urine test. When I went to have my ultrasound he had wrote that it was to determine if I was having multiples. I have just one question though. If hcg can sometimes be too high to show positive, then why do doctors automatically take a negative as a no.

I have been really tired lately, I find myself taking mid day naps. Yesterday some colostrum leaked from my left b___st. I love to eat hot cheetos, and for some reason yesterday They tasted sooo gross. It was like this nasty after taste. While resting with my husband his after shave smelled real good but it seemed so intense that it made me have a gag reflux. Im telling you, if Im not pregnant than I must be one mental person.

Heyy there. I was told by my Dr. that I have a Fibroid in my uterus recently. I've read a good amount on fibroid's since I was told and I've been worrying like crazy about if I can even have kids anymore. I have 2 kids already and would like at least one or two more. I go back to see another Dr. to see what we can do about the fibroid on the 13th. However, I missed my period last month and granted it is only the beginning of Aug. but still my period has been a little off since Dec. I honestly hope and wish that I am pregnant but I'm scared to test because what if it's just the Fibroid? Some sites say that a fibroid won't make you miss your period while others say it may effect it. I'm not sure if I should test or not. I've been eating more and I'm always tired. I also believe that I have miscarried a few times between 2006 and now but never had a comfirmed pregnancy to say it's true. The thing that bugs me is that with my youngest son, I didn't get a pos. until 2 months or so peg. Everyone thought I was crazy because I was still getting my period, just extremely light. Now it comes when it wants and leaves then comes back. Now it's just missing. Am I going crazy? Could my fibroid be causing this or could I possibly be pregnant? Please someone, anyone give me your advice! Thank you.
