Hey guys,
I've been experiencing pregnancy symptoms for about 9-10 weeks now. Several negative urine tests and one negative blood test. I went to see another doctor while on holidays because I was extremely bloated and feeling ill (nausea, heartburn, headaches and dizziness). He told me that although there were negative testa that my symptoms certainly sounded like I was pregnant. So ordered an ultrasound. The tech who did the ultrasound spend a total of 30 seconds on my lower abdomen, told me I had a tilted uterus and over full bladder and that she couldn't see much but everything look ok???
I asked if I could empty my bladder and have an internal ultrasound done, but she said that wasn't what was ordered so she wasn't prepared for that and couldn't do it. Told me to follow up with a preg test in two weeks.
My symptoms include: dizziness, off and on nausea/heartburn, fatigue, leg cramps & blotchy skin on thighs, peeing frequently, cry at the drop of a hat and extreme bloating that progressively worsens through the day but gets somewhat better as I sleep. My br___ts have grown.
Now, I did get two "periods" but the first one was 10 days late, and only lasted 4 days (normally I am a full/heavy 7-8 days) this one was light. The second was basically on time but I bled for one day, then it was gone for a day then spotted for two days. This is VERY abnormal for me!
Could the ultrasound have missed a baby if I was only 6-7 weeks and my uterus tilted and bladder too full??
