Dear Mindreaders, Hi, it's so helpful to read others' experiences. I'm 40. Due to husband's medical problems, it's a medical miracle if I get pregnant. No birth control needed for 10 yrs, but an accident is possible. Had s_x right on ovulation day in mid January but got normal period near end of Jan. But Feb didn't show up! I'm freaking. I have no symptoms of pregnancy whatsoever. Never missed one in my life, except unplanned pregnancy over 20 years ago. Since I got a full period end of Jan, wondering how it's possible to be pregnant. Now that no period in Feb, hpt is totally negative. Going to try 2nd hpt tomorrow. I do recall having severe frequent headaches in late Jan and now I'm really freaking because I'm having a serious problem with constipation. I have no nausea, no chest soreness, no cramps and my belly is huge, but up high and soft like fluid, and tummy gets uncomfortable when I eat. I am under a tremendous amount of stress so I've considered that as a cause. I know a blood test is the best thing for peace of mind, but wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone thinks I might be despite a full period in Jan. If I am, that makes me almost 8 weeks pregnant with no signs other than constipation and headaches. I wanted to wait to see if next period shows up in about 10 days but not sure I should wait that long for a blood test. Believe it or not, I almost don't have time to get one right now lol (dont' ask). Your pennies?
