Pregnant

I'm on the pill but screwed it up a bit when I started the new pack in April. I had unprotected s_x on April 21st. Based on an ovulation calendar I did I shouldn't have been ovulating on that day, but that's only if I calculated right. I've always had odd periods but I started bleeding on May 2nd, 10 days since s_x, I had no cramps and it was a light pink and very light by the 4th it was gone. I've been VERY emotional just starting the past week and yesterday I got a very sharp pain in my abdomen that lasted a few minutes, it hurt to even shift positions. I've also started getting some back pain/pressure and I feel like I'm really fat all of the sudden. Is it possible I'm pregnant? I know I should just take the test but I feel like I'm just stressing myself out over it and it's all in my head. Any advice?

Sounds like a possibility. You need to take a test. I would get a first Response, they are very reliable. Use first morning urine and go from there. If get a positive result, then make an appointment with your OB asap. You will need prenatal vitamins, and regular prenatal care. Are you in a relationship? Married? Have other kids? I am 36, married and have two other children. Our son will be 4 in July and our daughter turned 6 in february. I have to wait untii Monday to test and it's driving me crazy. This wasn't planned. Good luck to you, keep me posted. Actually, there is another thread that is started. It's under signs of pregnancy and it's called implantation bleeding, or possible implantation bleeding. It's just me and another gal. My name is Mandy and she is Ashley. You are welcome to join us.

I'm supposed to start my next period not this next week but the week after so I wanted to wait until atleast then. I feel like I'm just stressing over it. I'm 23, no actual relationship but I've been sleeping with him and only him for the past 2 years, so definitely not planned. I don't have any children but I miscarried when I was 19, but I don't remember much of the symptoms I had then because I only found out about a week or so before I miscarried. I have no nausea really or any other common symptom but things are just weird. I guess we'll find out. I hope things work out positively for you though!! Thanks for your help :)

It takes 2 weeks after ovulation to get a positive result on a pregnancy test, unless you have really long cycles. Since you have odd cycles, then yeah, wait until your period is due. I misread your initial post. Let me know, come on over to the other thread.
