When you are preganent do you still discharge? I just had s_x for my first time and my period is 1 week late however I am discharging but my discharge is a yellowish color could that mean something?

I just got married...tried to skip my period by not taking the last week of my bcpills...didn't work and period came 5 days later which was about 3 weeks ago. Now, about a week ago, I started spotting and the blood was very brown. I ALWAYS have terrible cramps with my period and haven't had them with this 'period'. Does browner blood mean anything?
