Here's my story: My husband and I have been ttc for 9 months and we were about to start clomid. It's been 54 days since my period (they're always that long) and I had 16 days of brown spotting ending last week. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests, all of which have been negative. I saw my doctor today and she ordered a blood test and upon a pelvic exam, she said I have a very soft uterus. I can't find too much about this online. Anyone have any idea what that means? Thanks for your help.

OK, one more, this is what I found:Dear Dr. Greenfield,
I am asking this question for a friend. If you just found out you were pregnant and the doctor tells you that you have a soft uterus, what does that mean?Dear Worried Friend,
Worry no more! A soft uterus is just one of the physical signs of early pregnancy. It is totally normal and just goes along with being pregnant. SO FAR I HAVE FOUND NOTHING ABOUT SOFT UTERUS W/O PG.

I would trust the blood test over the ultrasound. It's definitely possible to miss a baby on an ultrasound, especially if it's still early on. Did your doctor happen to give you an hcg value? Has she asked you to return for another test to see if the value increases? Good luck to you!
