so I moved recently with my boyfriend 28hrs away from our families, the first day in our new home I realized that I was late so I bought a pack of tests (not the cheap kind). I took the first one that night, it was positive, and the second the next morning same result. I was scared but ultimately excited and my boyfriend was even more so. About a week later I got what later doctors would tell me was just a regular period. They did tests and said I wasn't pregnant and it's likely that i hadn't been at all. When i mentioned i had taken two tests they still said the same thing but I could tell from their faces that they were not skeptical about it. I believe I lost my baby, and so does my boyfriend, we were heart broken. Its been 4 months and I haven't had a period since. I haven't been on birth control since a few months before the tests. I have taken several tests since then and so far they have all come back negative. The only thing that suggests a pregnancy is I've noticed a little weight gain. Since we are just starting out in our new town I don't have the money to go to a doctor (the one trip was to the e.r.). Is there any way I could determine it on my own before sc__ping up the money to make an appointment?

Another country - 28 hours? It sounds like one of those chemical pregnancies they talk about, one that is over almost as soon as it began. Is there a right-to-life organization in town that has an ultrasound, or a Planned Parenthood? The next question is why have you not had a period in months, and for that you are going to have to see a doctor. If you were pregnant still, you would have many more symptoms than just no period, and you would have had a positive test.
