Brown Discharge Instead Of Period

My last period was on September 29th and ended October 3rd. During this time I only had brown discharge for the most part. I did have some but not heavy at all dark brown discharge but never enough to fill a tampon. On the 3rd day it stopped then started back up the next day with the drown discharge and only twice, I got a wipe of pinkish/red discharge. I am very regular, I am always right on time with my period tracker and my flow is always basically the same and this last period was very off from my normal. I have been having unprotected sex, so it's very possible I could be pregnant but I took a test once the brown discharge stopped and just this morning October 12th and both was negative. Has anyone else experience this and has been pregnant? I have a doctor's appointment on the 24th which is just a day before my next period is due if it comes. I also have gotten nauseous a few times and have had cramping day after the brown ended. My breast just started hurting today.

I seem to be going through the same symptoms as you. I have taken a test and was negative. I'm going to take another one this week. My period would be due this week, but I had the brown discharge on and off last week. I think I'm over thinking things. I have googled up other causes and came up with premenopausal ????. oh well fingers crossed it's not that ????
