So I went to my gyane and had her look down there bcoz I've been having a foul smell and brown discharge for the past month now, it's really uncomfortable for me to be around ppl as I feel they may smell me!!! I took 2 Hpt and it came bk neg. I have a very irregular period and my gyane put me on the pill to regulate it but still it hasn't regulated! I have douched and have not used soap down there but still afew hours after I bath I can smell myself. Hubby and I are trying to fall preg but with my irregular cycle I have no clue as to when I ovulate. We tried to fall preg for 6 years and finally had our daughter 2 years ago and now we want another but I'm so worried about my situation as nothing seems to be helping, and I feel embarrassed to be around anyone including my husband ????

Did you tell the doc about the smell? She should have checked for bacterial vaginosis and other problems. As far as timing for another pregnancy you can look for the signs of ovulation such as fertile mucus, cervix soft high open wet and of course high libido. After that you can try temperature charting and finally ovulation prediction kits. The doc might try drugs other than the pill. It's a pain to make a science out of what should be fun but is surely worth it in the end. GL!
