Good morning! I'm hoping to talk to me doctor today to get his opinion on what we should do. I just want someone to tell be that IVF is what we need to do so I don't have to make the decision. If it weren't so expensive I wouldn't worry so much. I think insurance companies should be required to pay for this stuff!!! Staci - I hope AF stays away! We need a bfp on this thread sooooo badly!

Anna, I know what you mean about not wanting to make that decision for yourself. It's a tough one! I hope your dr's appt goes well. Let us know what he says. Good luck! Tonia, wake up! I have a question for you!!!! LOL! Remember last month when you had that crazy long cycle and you ended up Oing way after you thought you were going to? Did you do iui that cycle? Did the dr have any explaination as to why you O'd much later then she thought you would? I'm just curious because of the way my temps are all wacky.

Hey Becca! Actually last month, was never confirmed for O! My old dr didn't u/s me before IUI and did not do a progesterone test after supposed O. So I am not sure if I did O. There was a corpus luteal cyst on my u/s on 12dpiui, (my new dr did the u/s for me) so we a__sume I o'd. That is why I switched dr's! My new dr says that I have a ton of follies, so that may cause some LH to be in my system all the time. NOT enough to make a + OPk though. She did say I have tons of eggs but NOT pcos. okay, so I am excited to test! On the way to the gym this morning, dh asked "how many days past ovulation are you? So you can go get tested on Monday right?" I told him, "no way man, I'm going to start testing as soon as i get my tests in the mail!" then he asked, "why don't you just use the dollar store tests?" He is so so so cute! : ) So I will buy one tonight, so I don't get caught empty handed tomorrow morning! k???? : )~~~ Good morning girls!!!

TOGIRL - i was on the progesterone suppositories at night and the only side effect i really noticed was being really tired... i'm now taking the pills starting the day after we are told to bd by the doc - usually a day or two after o'ing and i only have the tiredness, occasional bloating but not really any more emotional than usual (which can really depend on the day anyways :) ) went to the docs, saw an u/s tech and not the doc so i feel like she didn't give me the info i wanted to hear, instead made me feel like maybe she wasn't telling me something and that i'd have to wait for the doc to call... drew my blood and told me that i had a more mature follicle measuring 16/17 but didn't say much about others??? they did not give me the hcg inj and said i'd probably have to go back tomorrow which is what makes me think that they're not excited about what they saw... she also said that i can do "timed intercourse" and the IUI in conjunction w/ each other instead of having to stress over not coming in 2 days in a row, so that may be an option... i'll post when i get more news......

OK, Tonia, that makes me feel better. I trust the u/s and bloodwork more than my temps. So... if I O'd on Thursday night, that would make me 6 dpo today, right? Man, I'm Jonesing to test. Is 6 dpo too early - LOL - just kidding! My dr told me that I have a lot of little cysts, but they don't call them cysts, they just call them follicles that are waiting to mature. There is nothing wrong with them being there. Awww, Tonia, your' dh is so cute. My dh doesn't usually want to know much about what's going on. I just tell him when to bd and then he hugs me when I get bfns. That's pretty much how every cycles goes. Daina, 17/18 folicle sounds good. My dr told me they rupture between 18 and 21 and they grow 2 mm every day, so I would guess that you would be Oing in the next few days, but I'm no doctor, and I'm pretty new at this RE stuff. Maybe they will be able to tell you more when they get your blood test back.

Hey becca, if a girl is on clomid, they say the follies don't rupture until they reach 22mm...............on a nonmedicated cycle, you are right 18-21mm............

Thanks for the info Tonia. I didn't know that. What happens if a follie ruptures at 15 mm? Does that mean it's not mature enough yet?

Hi girls...just a quick pop in. I probably won't be on much the next few days as I'm not sure how I'll be feeling. Just came back from the dr. appt and u/s confirmed again what we already knew. The baby stopped growing at 6wks 1day. I've accepted it but it breaks my heart the way dh is taking all of this. He was tearing up during the u/s and is still having a hard time. Whew..this is going to be a long weekend. I think the tough part is running into people who don't know the bad news yet. I feel so terrible for having to tell them...not just because it's sad news but because they feel so awful for not knowing. I hate making people feel bad. Anyway, Tanya...I was on progesterone suppositories after my last IUI+Clomid cycle and I was extremely emotional...I would almost say borderline depressed. However, I'm not sure if it was actually from the progesterone or just from the whole ttc rollercoaster. It wouldn't be uncommon but you should address it with your dr. if you start feeling really depressed. Ok ladies, I hope everyone has a good weekend and our testers bring us some good news....I would love to check back on the thread this weekend and see at least one BFP! It would really lift my spirits! I'm really exhausted from this morning so I'm gonna take a little nap! xoxo ~~~baby dust~~~~

On a nonmedicated cycle they could rupture that small, and yes if they are on the small side, they may not be able to be fertilized, same as if they get to old or to big.

Bing I am so sorry. We will all be thinking of you and praying for you both. When you feel able please let us know how you are, ok? (((BIG HUGS))) well ladies i'm still spotting, no cramping or anything yet. hopefull i won't cramp to bad! If it doesn't come on full force by tomorrow am i will test. but i doubt that will happen! well it took me forever to read throught the posts with all the phone calls and ds, so i will write back later, talk to you all in a bit!

the nurse called from the docs office and left me a message saying that they want to see me back tomorrow morning, thats it :( don't know why she called and not the doc like she usually does... and i guess i'm seeing this same nurse in the morning - i'll have to ask that the doc is the one who calls me or talks w/ me there to let me know a little more than i do now... off to work - hope you all have a good night!

I just got off of the phone with my doctor and he said that we can give the IUI a shot this month if dh and I want to. He also told me to make an appt with the RE so we can discuss IVF! I’m glad he mentioned it b/c I felt funny asking about it. I’m going to call tomorrow and make an appt. I hope it doesn’t take long to get in to see him. I looked at the timing for next month and it would be perfect b/c I would be Oing at the same time that I had already scheduled to take off from work. Of course that would mean that I would have to cancel my trip home to see my parents but it is worth it if it works. I’m really getting excited about this. I am still really scared but I have read a lot about IVFs the past two days and the results sound so encouraging.

Oh, and Kelly, you mentioned accupuncture for fertility...do you know anything about it? I drove past a place that had a big sign out saying that they did it. I wonder if I should look into it. I'm going to google it and see if there is any info out there.
