My Period Is Late With Spotting

Im almost a week late but i have had some spotting for 2 days ( April 4th 5th) and then again today its just a couple of pinkish blood. Im never this light i have ovarien cysts so my periods are horrible and always heavy. I took 2 home pregnancy tests and both were negative. Could i still be pregnantor do i just have false hope?
