I began having flu symptoms right around my last ovulation cycle and by the time my period should have come around I was in the middle of the full flu. I took a pregnancy test at 5 days past my missed period and it was negative. I read online that the flu can cause you to skip a cycle but I'm now 16 days late and feeling worried that the test may have been wrong. The only possible symtom I've had is slightly tender breasts while with my daughters I had major symptoms. What do you guys think? Is it more likely I missed a cycle or had a false negative test?

Sounds like the flu threw off your cycle but another test would be in order. GL!
