im 5 days late, got dull, heavy ache like period pains, and sometimes like a stabbing pain in cervix, feels just the same as when im about to start a period

hi I an a far bit late and i just did the test and it came up positive. i have been having cramps since the day I should have got my period. I was told its not likely to get an incorrect positive test. I hope that helped

help me I'm due on last week I've been getting what I think are peirod pains but no period am I pregnant?

I had the same thing happen several months ago. It felt like my period should start, but there was no bleeding. After being 2 weeks late, It finally started. I think I had myself so convinced that I was pregnant that I could have delyed it. On the other hand, I am now 16 weeks pregnant and still have period like cramps. They are not a strong and they don't last more than 30 seconds at a time. Hope this may help.

Hi, it amazed me that I really thought my period was coming, with all the normal symptoms and really I was pregnant. I had a back ache and Breasts were swollen and cramps.

the people who were getting period pains, and then turned out to be pregnant-were your pains the same as a normal period pain, like dull heavy ache, dragging and stabbing type pains, and a general feeling of fullness

well, i had my last period November 1st, and before that October 3rd, so its not the 6th and im considering myself 3-5 days late. I have had mild cramping something like strong more like im gonna have gas and then you think about it and its like oh no wait im getting my period, and nothing comes. I havent had any other symptoms my b___bs dont hurt really but i have a cold so i feel achy anyway. i dont know my body hates me :(

For the first 3 months of my pregnancy I thought I was going to get my period at any given moment. It wasn't until I felt the baby kick for the first time that I was truly convinced I was expecting. The cramps and tenderness you're feeling is the stretching of your ligaments and uterus.

my period was a week late, im normally regular.i had all the symptoms of pregnancy, like everything smelt stronger, i felt tired and sick, them my period arrived 8 days late, after having non stop cramps 24hours per day for a week.

eek! i am on a regular 28-day cycle. i was due on 12/5, and on 12/6 i got really bad cramps, but no bleeding! that is the first time that has ever happened to me! today (12/7), the cramps are gone, but i am very lightheaded and dizzy, and i still feel very hormonal as if my period might start any minute.. i wonder if i might be pregnant, might try taking a test soon. good luck to you all!

Hi everyone, its good to find some people in the same situation as me! I am 3 days late now and im thinking I could be pregnant although I am having period like pains but also im having a really sort of dull ache in the bottom of my back which I never get when im due on. I took a pg test the day my period was supposed to start but it was negative. Im also eating a lot lately and I feel so tired all the time. I just dont know what to do now!

I am 5 days late, took 3 hpt's all neg, went to dr. 2 days ago, urine test was neg. He said come back in a week if no period. Last night I had terrible period - like pains, my b___bs hurt and I felt major water retention all over my body. I got up to pee at 5 am 7 am and 9 am. I put a pad on at 7 am because I was certain it was going to be here when I got up. Instead I had diarreah and nausiousness at 9 am. No period! I can't figure out what my body is doing. I am going nutz. Where's my period? Wheres my positive pregnancy test? I need answers! I can't take this time in limbo.

Hi, I am going through the same thing. I stopped using birth control pills on Nov 13th. My husband and I thought if it happens great, if not it iwll when it is right. However, I was supposed to get my period on the 6th on Dec. I have had all of the symptoms and no period. I am going to take a Preg home test on Sat morning. This is more to ease my mind. I hpoe that I am not., but after reading all of the commets below there could be a chance that I am. The Cramos and backachce have come and gone off and on all week for short periods of time. It is not like my normail periods. I know that goingoff the pill can be different and can mess up the cycles, but there is something strange going on. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Hi Nat, you posted your coomet on Dec. What you have described is exactly what I am going through. My lower back hurts like a dull pain. I just wanted you to know that there is someone else going through the same thing.

I'm relieved to see how many women are going through the same thing as me. I am 8 days late and have never ever skipped a period. I've got cramps, nausea, b___sts a tad sore, and fatigued. However, I've taken 2 hpt tests and they're neg and this past Monday I had a blood test and it was negative. Supposed to call the dr next monday if my period hasn't arrived. I guess we make up that unique 1%. I hate this limbo thing. Am I pregnant or not?
