Pregnant Or A Figment Of My Imagination

My last AF was on 16 Jul 2012. My cycles are 34 days long and was due on 19 Aug 2012. NO SHOW! I had a faint positive on 25 Aug 2012, then a string of negatives or faint positives. I went to the doctor to get a BETA HCG test. She gets me a qualitative one which just says if I am or not pregnant like the urine ones. It came back negative and I knew it would. I had unprotected s_x with my husband during the last week of July and about Aug 2nd. According to an ovulation calculator I could get pregnant that week or up to 5 Aug 2012. I am super frustrated with the doctor and with the lack of info. I have had several symptoms of pregnancy and considering I have had 3 other pregnancies that are now 6, 4 and 2 I think I would understand what is going on in my body. I will be making another appointment in a month if my period doesn't show up. ARRRGGGGHHHHH. Thanks for listening and offering any advice you can :)

If you are pregnant the hCG hormone should double every few days and the tests should be each time more conclusive. Were your faint positives read inside the 3 minute limit? Take a couple more home urine tests at one week intervals using first morning pee. If both are negative you need to start thinking about other explanations for your no-show period and several symptoms.
