Spotting One Week Before Expected Period

I have had irregular periods for a few years now. About 3 years ago I found out that I have pcos (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) and had abnomal cells. After doing a few pap smears and colposcopys, I then found out that I had Cervical intraepithelial lesions on my cervix. About a year and a half ago I has LEEP prosidure done and removed the cells. Then about 6 months ago I had another colposcopy done to see if there has been any other changes and I havent got a call back from my gyn. For the past 10 months now I have been getting regular mentral periods which last between 5-7 days. My last period was Febuary 20-27. On the 14th of March I noticed to have a brownish-pinkish distarge/spotting that lasted for about 5 days. It was pretty light. Today Is now the 28th of march and still NO period? Could this be a sign of early pregnancy? I took a pregnancy test on the 22nd and it was negative. Should I test again? I am not experiencing any other symptoms. I would like to get pregnant, but maybe I am just getting excited for no reason! Some one please give me some advice or experiences!

Have you been having unprotected s_x, especially the weekend of March 4th? A suggestion of implantation spotting followed by a missing menstruation does make one suspect pregnancy, but the absence of other signs plus a negative test when a few days late is not encouraging. Some women do say they had no early signs, and others do not test positive until two weeks late. Try another test this weekend using first morning pee. Best of luck!
