I had unprotected s_x on April 26,27 & 28th. We used the withdraw method knowing full well that there would be a chance of pregnancy. That said, we've been using the withdraw method for 3 years and have not been pregnant, yet. Maybe we are now...?
My period was scheduled to arrive around May 1st, but instead it came May 4th. My "period" was heavier than what implantation bleeding should have been based on my research, but it only lasted 4 days vs the usual 6 days. The flow seemed regular. Immediately following my "period" I experienced a lot of discharge -clear, sometimes milky white, very runny, with no odor or itching. Without a panty liner it felt like I peed on myself. This went on for a full week May 7-15th. Also during this time there were 2 days when my va___a felt and looked engorged. I don't recall this symptom with my first pregnancy, 8 years ago. Very strange. I didn't have any discharge May 16th-17th. For the last 4 days including today I have much less discharge than I did during the week following my period and it has changed to more of a creamy paste-like texture. Maybe this is ovulation discharge? If it is, shouldn't an ovulatioin test have read positive? According to my calendar I should have started ovulating 3 days ago. I've been using pee stick ovulation detectors for the last 5 days and I haven't had a spike. Also, my nipples have been tender for the last week.
Between the discharge, tender nipples, larger br___ts and engorged va___a I feel pregnant. This morning I'm even constipated and I drank more than my usual amount of water yesterday. I don't normally have these symptoms immediately following my period. I do typically have egg white like discharge when I'm ovulating. Two HPT have read negative.
Could I have had my period since it was so close to the possible conception date? Do I have to wait until my next scheduled period (June 1st) to know for sure?

You are not normally in the fertile window in the week before your period. What is the chance that your cycle was delayed a week in April - or are you always regular as clockwork? Alternatively, did you have s_xual exposure Apr 19, 20, 21? If your negative hpt were as recent as last weekend, the chances are that there is some other reason for your pregnancy signs - cyst or whatever. Good luck!

Cysts?! Yikes! My cycle is not like clockwork and I did not have s_x at any other time during the month of April. That said, I wasn't in my "fertile" period based on the ovulation calendar when my daughter was conceived 8 years ago.
I recently had a physical and I was given a clean bill of health. A medical a__sistant to an OBGYN has said that I'll really have to wait until it's time for my next period in 2 weeks to confirm pregnancy or not.

Let's a__sume your April cycle was fixing to be longer than normal and that you were fertile at the time of your s_x, an hpt now would have a fair chance of telling true, while the others might have been too early. You are not reporting fatigue, more peeing, hot flashes, emotions, backache which would make pregnancy a more convincing story. GL!

So do I understand that after 3 weeks a hpt should be accurate? The unprotected s_x was 3 weeks ago.
