WOW! Amazing! My aunt did the same thing though.. She KNEW she was pg but hcg was not detectable in her urine or blood until three months! Girl, good luck!! yeah, are you having twins??? WOW! I can't wait to see the picture!! :-) Good luck! Happy and healthy remaining months!

sorry to intrude...your story really intriqued me. when you finally had a blood test show up positive did they tell you what your levels were? You already had an ultrasound? Only showed one baby or more? Please keep us posted this is amazing.

I haven't had a positive blood test yet. I had a Positive test at home and a Positive test at the doctor's office yesterday. I have my 1st Prenatal visit with a Big OB/GYN practice in my area on the 23rd. When I had my ultrasound on Dec 12th. I don't believe they were looking for baby. I was given a Pelvic Ultrasound. It was very brief and lasted about 5 minutes. When I was called a few days later she said that the saw No abnormalities of the tubes or ovaries. She did mention that they saw where I had recently ovulated because I had several large follicles where the eggs are. So I guess that explains the twins or triplets..LOL! I DO NOT listen to Doctor's when it comes to me and my body. Just like..Yesterday when I was in the office the doctor was like "Then You Just Got Pregnant" Until she did some sizing. She acted like I was nuts because I knew how far along I was! Then she fussed about the Prenatal vitamins I've been taking for the last 2 months. I told her I think they're good. Then I was very firm with her and reminded her they have been telling me I WAS NOT pregnant, so how dare she fuss. Because of my own knowledge I knew I was pregnant. Pregnancy for me in an unmistakable feeling and I don't waiver with it. Like a__suming gas, cramps, or some other ailment. In my book there is nothing like it.

Also I think because I have had 5 children my uterus is shot! LOL Because I feel lots of movement and it's too much and everywhere and my stomach is heavy. One baby can't be everywhere at one time. I can feel one moving in one place and another moving at the same time in another place. Probably 3..LOL Just my luck

I don't get it, why did your doc fuss about you taking prenatals? Most tell you that you *should* take them from the moment you start ttc. Congrats, by the way!

She said they like to use a prescription type, for the correct amount of Folic Acid. So when I told her I purchased mine online she started fussing about that they weren't the right ones. But I was ticked because as far as she was concerned I haven't been pregnant for 3 months. So if I had been listening to her then I wouldn't even be taking them. I was Hot and told her just give me all your negative pregnancy test results from my charts. Signed a release to receive them and shook my head as I was walking out of the office. Because I need to give them to my OB/GYN The biggist problem is I drank dye last month because they tried to force me to have a Catscan to find out why I was growing. But I told those fools why I was growing. When I talked to the Cat scan guy he told me, "If I see fetus when I slide you in this circle, we're both screwed, because a fetus can't withstand this type of radiology". I started crying and jumped off the table. Because I KNEW I was pregnant. The hospital made me sign a paper that I was rufusing treatment. God is the author of Life. I don't have a lot of trust for doctors because they rely on test over a womans word.

I'm laughing at myself..Maybe I acutally always know because I never wanted to be pregnant! I love my children dearly but I didn't neccessarily have to have any. The doctor had a nerve (while looking inside me) asked if I was going to do something about getting pregnant on birth control again? I laughed and just said, "Yeah after birth take it ALL out!" Don't leave me with anything. Maybe just the uterus...LOL

KimMcCloud..hey i havent followed your story only from this post, but can you tell me what you were going through from the begining if you dont mind. im currious to know more about yur symptoms and such.

Kim-did they do a pelvic exam prior to your positive preg. tests? Did they say the die was harmful to a fetus? I can't beleive they didn't do some sort of U/S at your first visit with a pos. preg test. I take it this is not the same doc that you were using prior or they'd know about you not showing pos. for a while! Instead of an MRI why didn't they do an u/s and acutally LOOK for a baby? wow complicated!

Hi Kim, I remember your story because I posted on your thread about if you can feel conception. I'm so happy for you, but you did know you were PG along. Better to trust your instincts than the dr's at times! After all women have been having babies longer than there's been medical practices! LOL. You know I think I saw that "time4more" had posted to your thread on the Twins forum in Dec. Hope that helps. What a shocker that would be if you are carrying twins!!! Ashley, Yes a Pelvic exam was given prior to the pos. preg test. They didn't say the dye was harmful to the fetus, but this is because they did blood test and urine test and as far as THEY were concerned i wasn't pregnant. Then they tried to fill my head up with all these other things as "what" could be wrong with me. Dummies! They do want another Ultrasound but this isn't an OB/GYN and not done there. So they gave me a referral. But I will see the actual OB/GYN practice that will give my entire prenatal care on the 23rd. And I can't see why they don't have Sonogram machines in the office. A doctor will not look for a baby if HIS test says no.

anoble, to answer about symtoms is hard for me. I have had my body to myself for 11 years without sharing(housing life) with it. I knew when I got up I was pregnant (and have all 6 times) But as far as symptoms..Well I bled 4 days after I had been pregnant for a month. I knew this was not a period and some sort of cleansing type bleeding. The blood was different and it wasn't nearly as much as a period blood. Also I can feel my uterus when I begin to mensturate. It is sore and has an annoying feeling during the first 2 days of bleeding. This feeling was not present whatsoever. Plus I could feel my uterus pushing up towards the middle of my stomach and no longer near the pubic area. So I knew for sure when this began happening. Then my b___st got sore. My b___st NEVER get sore, not even during periods. Mainly for me, these symtoms really don't matter. I can feel the onset of life and I guess it's just hard for me to explain.

OMG!!!! Kim CONGRATS!!!! I am so glad that you finally got their attention!! definitely keep us posted... i am also intrigued by the scientific reason that it doesnt show up....and when you know, you know!!!

Well actually I'm sitting here reading all the threads and biting my nails. Which I don't do. Because I know there is more then one baby in there. Sometimes I'm excited and sometimes I get really stressed out thinking about birthing more then one baby. Just when I thought it was 2..I have a strange feeling it's 3 or 4. And that's the kind of luck I have. I DO NOT want a C Section by no means. I popped out all my babies with one push, no rips, tears, or stictches, all over 8 pounds. Then on top of everything else I don't even have anything for a baby. Wasn't planning on having any...then I get really depressed. Because i want to know how can I afford all these children. I have teenagers and they have jobs!Somebody pray for me!

Hello i know this is an old post but wanted some help. I have this feeling that i am pregnant i was before but miscarriage so i know the feeling. My stomach is bloated and feels tight. Im tired during the day i have all the normal pregnancy symptoms except no vomitting but certain smells make me naseaus. I went to an obgyn but she did urine tesr and when it came out negative she order me to do a ultrasound. She said i had thyroid problem which i was never told i had that before. I have my period 26th of every month my last time was 1-26-14 which would make me at 13 weeks roughly. Blood and urine test came negative This doctor first said pcos because im not ovulating then came back and said premenopausal. When she did ultrasound she only looked at ovaries it looked normal she never said i had cysts or anything. I have lower back pain and heart beat is elevated at times. I sometimes feel a tickle in my upper part of my belly right below my belly or it feels like a heart beat. Idk these doctors want to claim i have menstrual problems and dont want to believe me when im telling them im pregnant. Would you know how i can get them to do a ultrasound to look for a baby
