I'm 15, i've been with my boyfriend for 3 years, he's 16, he's so great. I just recently found out i'm pregnant, and super scared. I don't know how to tell my mom. I've always been the goody good, the one everyone leans on to succeed graduate high school, everything. I don't know how to break it to her. My older sister also just had a baby a year ago when she was 17, i feel horrible. I have a job, and get 250 a week, i'm only a sophomore in high school, i don't know what to do.. abort? adopt? keep it? I really want to keep it, i know i could emotionally/physically support it, but would that be the best choice, if i wanna finish high school? I need advice and help! How to tell my mom, who thinks i'm innocent? & what to do? :(

Sympathy! You seem pretty mature for 15 and you've already thought through your options. Intellectually, adoption is a win-win situation in many ways, but few women choose separation from a baby after bonding for nine months. Where is your father in this picture, and how are family finances? If you are in a single mom family the strains of keeping a baby are going to make it difficult to finish high school. Does your high school have a day care? Any college ambitions you may have are going to be delayed big time. Terminating the pregnancy involves handling any guilt feelings. One way to look at this is to recognize that you are going to have a couple of kids at some time in your life, and you owe it to yourself and the family to bring them into the world under the best conditions you can arrange. Take charge of the mom situation in an adult conversation - "Sit down for a minute, mom. I feel horrible. I've screwed up big time. John and I started having s_x six months ago." Best of luck!
