Ello everyone, i really need all the advice i can get, im vero by the way; well just last wednesday i found out im pregnant im supposedly 14wks pregnant now ; not quiet the best news you can get at this age especially w| a mother like mines -_- shes very oldschool. . anyways , i told my boyfriend whos the father of this baby im pregnant, he said he supports me on whatever decision i make. . so i decided already im getting an abortion this saturday the 17th. my boyfriend & i have decided already we dont want to stop having s_x, but for last times sake, this week we want to have s_x without protection before i get the abortion. -now, my 1st question is, Why do they say youre pregnant this many wks if they havent even checked me completely? like they only counted from last time i had my period which was january 1st to the 7th . so can someone please explain how that goes down? - 2d. question- am i possible to get pregnant again if i have s_x again this week before my abortion? - 3rd question - What types of abortion procedures are there? b/c im really scared now. ive heard supposedly theres a surgery one? then something about a vac_mm? i need to get my facts straight. - 4th question- What are the chances of me surviving this abortion? ( once again, i heard teens are in more danger of abortion, but at the same time, theres that possible chance of when i do give birth to the baby, i may die as well ) - 5th question- Do birth control pills always work? & What other methods are out there besides condoms? Can i please get some answers? Im really confused. & nobodys really taught me any of this (not even in school -_-) I have two older brothers & my mother who doesnt like talking much about this -_- . . So please let me know? Im really concerned. -Thanks w| all my love, Vero :)

1)The last time you had your period is a pretty good indicator of weeks of pregnancy. If that period was lighter and shorter than usual, you might be a month further along than they think. At 14 weeks you should be able to feel your uterus pushing up from behind the pubic bone. 2)You can't get pregnant again when you are pregnant already - you don't ovulate during pregnancy. However, it is quite possible to get pregnant after termination, before ever experiencing another period. 3)It's too late for vacuum aspiration. At this stage they will do a dilation and curettage - no cuts, but open up the cervix so they can clean out the uterus. 4)There is little difference in risk between legal abortion at 14 weeks and giving birth. 5)Birth control pills have a low failure rate for those who can remember to take them on schedule and know that certain medications can affect their working. An IUD also has a low failure rate and works until taken out. At your age you should consider also using condoms for doubled protection.

I just turned 17 and I am 12 weeks , many people can't have children . . please think twice before getting an abortion , have you looked into adoption?

- reply to (m.oreo.27) ; i wanted to keep my baby, but i couldnt. i tested for chlamydia, & i had it from my past boyfriend, and the docs. told me the babys womb was infected.. and yeah it wouldve came out dead, blind, death, or more.. so i prevented my babys life from suffering.

- reply to (hawkeye911) ; i have loked into adoption but like i said to the other guy, i couldnt have had my baby w/o it getting defects, i didnt want my baby to suffer .
