No change from 2 weeks ago. Im 38 weeks 5 days today. Still 1 cm dilated. I have a feeling this one is coming late. My blood pressure is very very high and my swelling is ridiculous but OB still doesnt think its preeclampsia. He wants to induce but im refusing so i go for some testing this week. Im just trying to hang in there and patiently wait to meet our new baby girl.

Thanks. My protein levels havnt been over 3 mg and anything under 10 mg is mormal so thats why hes really no concerned. Im also not having headaches or anything.

Oh alright, then yeah I'd agree with your doctor that it's not preeclampsia. Just take a load off and your little one will be here soon! How exciting!!

How high is your blood pressure? I developed pre-eclampsia at 36 weeks and was hospitalized until I was induced at 37 weeks. While I was in the hospital they told me that it's not the top number of your blood pressure that they are worried about the most with pre-eclampsia but the bottom. Mine was up about the 145/100 range, but coupled with other symptoms as well.
Swelling is normal during pregnancy, but if you suddenly find swelling doesn't go down overnight, then please ask your doctor to retest. That was my first sign that something wasn't quite right for me.
