Am I Having A Miscarriage -pg122843944041

Today will be the second day this has been happening. Yesterday morning I woke up feeling bloated, and crampy, and the cramps got worse through out the day. There's also been some incidences where my stomach has gotten hurt, and I'm trying to take care of that. Last night, I checked again and I had very light, pink spotting. The cramps got worse, and I told my caregiver and she took me to the hospital. They checked up on everything, I'm not ectopic or tubual, my cervix is still closed, etc. But today the cramps have continued getting worse, the bleeding is much darker and more than spotting, but not like a period. Does this sound like I'm having a miscarriage? The hospital told me a threatened miscarriage, but could it be going through? I just turned 15, and I'm 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant.

There is a chance, but can't know for sure. With my first I bled for 3 days. I had a miscarriage that also started out like that. So you never know.

I'm sorry but no one can really tell you. There are women who bleed heavily and think that they are miscarrying but they have healthy babies. It's sad to say but if it's happening, there's really nothing you can do that's why the hospital will tell you you are a threatened miscarriage and do nothing but send you home and tell you to call if you have heavier bleeding and see clots and tissue. Just try to take it easy as much as possible. I was in a similar situation where I got hit in my stomach and I began bleeding and having severe pain and cramps-hell I could barely walk. I went to the doctor a couple of times and they told me the first time that it was a threatened miscarriage situation and the second time they told me I was most likely in the early stages of miscarrying and gave me a checklist of things to do when I saw certain signs. Well right now I'm looking at that little one and he'll be two soon. He's completely healthy but I did have blood flow problems to the placenta on the side I was hit. It could have been bad but it kind of corrected itself enough to nourish a healthy baby! Good luck and just stay positive. If they gave you information, make sure you read it and completely understand it.

like v said there is no way for us to tell you for sure. Dont stress about it. That will only make it worse. It may be implantation bleeding, all you can do it wait it out. if you start bleeding more then go to the dr....usually a miscarriage consist of more then just spotting
