Definitely go to Walmart. They gave ones that don't cost a ton of money but are still good pumps.

I think a good pump is essential if you plan on b___stfeeding. There are just going to be times where you'll need someone else to feed your baby or if your out in public and there is not a good place to nurse. I had the medela swing. It's only a single pump but for me that is all i needed, if you think you will be needing to pump a lot more b/c you will spending long periods of time away from your baby for whatever reason then you should go with a double pump. Medela and Ameda are the top brand out there but they are the most expensive too, I've heard good things about the lanosh brand, i think their prices are a little better. STAY AWAY from hand pumps their awful. Also you might want to check with your insurance company and see if they offer you anything, some do and you can purchace a good pump for a fraction of the price.

Oh yeah, and my hospital offered me the extra supplies that go with the pumps for free. Like the bottles, the suction-y part, the hoses, and some storage bags. So make sure you ask your hospital if they have any free stuff for you :)
