Confused About My Pregnancy Test Result

Hi it's Amy again. I thought I'd give an update.
So I thought I'd get my period a few days ago because that's when I should of been expecting it. I haven't got my period yet. Not even horrible cramping like I usually get. I took a pregnancy test this morning, said "not pregnant" could it be a false negative? I think I didn't do the test right. I still have one more and planning on taking it on Wednesday or Thursday and using the dip method. I have been getting dizzy, more headaches, back pain, larger br___ts, some stretch marks on my br___ts as well, and darker around the nipples, dreams about babies or taking pregnancy tests and getting positive, and feeling like vomiting, I have been liking fish a lot lately but I've always hated the taste of it before, I've been having some gum bleeding when brushing my teeth and a little bit of a tooth ache. I was hoping I could have some help with this possibly false negative. And if I am pregnant how soon to tell my parents and how to tell them and when to go to the doctors. I'm 16 now. Please help, thank you.

Amy, that is a pretty convincing list of signs. By all means take a couple more tests using first morning pee, dip method. Some pregnancies do not show positive until 2 weeks late, and a few even later. When you get a positive, carry it to your mom and say "Does this mean what I think it does?" A doctor will not be upset if your first visit is not until you miss a second period. Meanwhile you should start in on prenatal vitamins or check the folate content of your diet (read the labels) and make a dentist appointment for the bleeding gums - gingivitis can result in reduced birth weight. Last night when I went to the bathroom and wiped I saw pinkish with some clear and brown discharge. I kept wiping until it was all gone, which didn't take much wiping. So I thought maybe inplantion bleeding because I never get that before my period. Then this morning when I went to the bathroom I had bright red bleeding, kind of heavy not really. So I was kinda sad it was my period. But the bleeding stopped. Before it stopped there was some more brown discharge with the blood. This confuses me so much. Then I thought that when my period comes I never ever experience really sore b___sts, I can't even touch them they are so sore now. I asked my mom what she would do if I was pregnant cause I told her one of my dreams when I broke my arm and had to get a x-Ray. When the x-Ray came back the doctor an nurse said I'm pregnant. I told them not to tell my parents because I was so scared. I told my mom my dream last night and she responded that she knew I was gonna say I was pregnant. This afternoon I asked her what she'd do if I was pregnant. She said "I wouldn't throw the baby away. I wouldn't be mad. What can you do?" then she asked me if I was having one. I said no, but I was thinking I should of said maybe so she could help me through this before I find out for sure.

Your mom seems to be inviting you to share your concerns. I think you should level with her and go through the next few days together. "Mom, when I said I wasn't pregnant, it's because I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. But I am still worried. What should I do?" If you are not pregnant, at least it will lead to you getting some good contraception.

I still haven't told my mom anything :( but I've noticed that when I complain about food or not having what I'm in the mood for she stares at me with this concerned look.
I took another pregnancy test this morning, again got "not pregnant" Should I still take pregnancy tests?
The light bleeding I had only lasted three days and it was on and off.
Any advice?

Amy, test every few days using first morning pee. If you are still testing negative when two weeks late you may need to see a doc to find out if something else is going on. Come back and let us know how it goes!
