I just recently had unprotected s_x with a guy on thursday and then on friday i got my period.. i know you can get pregnant 2 weeks after your period and up until you get your period so is there anyway that I could get pregnant?? really confused and worriedd!!! please help!

Yes you can get pregnant two weeks after your period. This means no more unprotected s_x, or better yet, no s_x at all! Best wishes.

Let's untangle the facts here. Two weeks before your expected period is when you ovulate (some women can feel ovulation cramps, and there are other ways of telling). The egg is only good for a day or two. S_x the day (or even week) before your period is due is unlikely to cause pregnancy, unless perchance ovulation (and thus period) were delayed by sickness, stress etc. On the other hand, sperm can survive inside a woman for 3 to 5 days, so the week before ovulation is not safe. so the week before ovulation is not good.. but what about the week before your period.. i guess i'm confused on the whole ovulation thing.....

The week before your period is pretty safe, especially if your periods are real regular. Ovulation is two weeks before your period and the egg only lasts one day. Calmate!

you can get pregnant any time during your cycle. let's not lie to the girl. women have gotten pregnant from having s_x during their period. it can happen. it is uber rare, but it has happened before. i would say a condom always to be safe.

Best to play it safe anytime dear :) It can happen anytime, like teddy said, just more rare instances right before a woman's period.
