Hi there - I just added you as a friend too - I come on this forum everynow and then - however not a teen. Just had my first bubba - a girl now three months so its good to talk to other mummas!

Thanks Amanda! Congrats to you too - we are both probably wrapped around their little fingers I suspect haha. Kira is my little angel but unfortunately the last few nights has been a bit more like a little devil in the sleep department - up every 2 hours! I am desperately hoping it is a growth spurt and will pa__s soon! She also hasnt been napping through the day which is strange for her - fights it for like an hour then stays asleep for about 20 mins! :( Just put her down and it has now been 40 mins - fingers crossed haha. So needless to say she has been a bit grumpy last few days. I was wondering do you think it could be because i had 2 gla__ses of wine each night on the last 2 nights? Small gla__ses but still???? I am just going to see if she is better now that I am not drinking at all (usually only have one or two if i go to a friends for dinner or something as am b___stfeeding) Any ways sorry to ramble - just wondering if anyone else found their bub changed a bit at age 3 months? Sleeping habits etc. ALSO any hints of weaning her off being wrapped - stinking hot here but cannot sleep without the wrap - she flings her arms up and wakes up but also if wrapped she gets too hot and wakes up - wow now I am rambling....

I am definitely wrapped around her finger haha. I just started her on rice cereal last night and she loved it. She's also teething pretty bad so nights are miserable for me too. You know my mom used to drink a gla__s of wine when she was b___stfeeding me, she said it helped us sleep better... But any change in diet could effect her. Hm. Maybe try a few days without it and see how she reacts. As for wrapping her up, have you tried doing it with a thinner blanket? Usually they wean themselves off being wrapped up at about 3-4 months. Maybe use a fan? My dd was born in the summer so I had the air conditioning running full blast just so she could be comfortably swaddled. Hope that helps :)

Well last night I just wrapped her legs and body snuggly and left her arms out and it was ok - she was up about every 3 hours but she did better then expected and looked really comfy with her chubby little arms by her ears - gonna keep that up for a week then just wrap a muslin wrap around her tummy and leave her legs out too - i think she likes the feeling of it firm around her tummy - then after a week of that I will see if i can just put her down and tuck a light sheet over her. Fingers crossed. My god she is babbling up a storm over on the couch with her daddy right now - too funny. Well we are off to take her for a walk and lay under a tree in the shade and let her watch the leaves b__w in the wind - hope you all have a great day!!!!!!!!!
