Grandpa Viv 2nd Negative

I took the test with morning pee like you said and it came back negative. . . again. I'm sure that i'm taking the test right and everything, but its weird that my period was suppose to come on the 28th, but going by my LMP its 8 days late still. The tests say that it can detect a pregnancy 5 days before missed period. I don't get why i'm late and always so tired and crampy. Thats not something that just happens to me every month. Could it maybe still be too early to detect it, atleast for my body, or is there just something wrong? Or am i just not pregnant, which is hard to believe right now. What do you think would be the best thing to do? Should I just go till this weekend without testing, and if my AF does not show by then, take another test? And should i use a different brand? Because i'm not sure what else to do right now, and telling my mom is becoming a possibility, because i dont know what to do. But i dont want to have to tell her. So please advice for what i should do now!!!!

I see no harm in waiting until the weekend to test again. The pregnancy hormone (hCG) increases faster in some pregnancies than in others, so the brag on the box of "5 days before" is not for everyone, and serves mostly to sell more tests. The brand is unimportant. If your mom knows you are s_xually active, what is the harm of sharing your concerns with her? If she doesn't know, perhaps it is in the long term interest of all that you clue her in, so you can get on decent birth control. Let us know how it goes. GL!

My mom does know, but i'd prefer not to tell her. Because she thinks i'm protecting myself while i'm off BC. But I started bleeding right after i took the test Tuesday morning. But I haven't had a heavy day yet and thats unusual, because the 1st and 2nd are usually more heavy than the last 2 or 3 days. Yesterday i went through 3 regular tampons the whole day, and the last 2 barely were filled up. And today i have yet to bleed at all.
