my period was due on april 3, but it didnt come till april 18th.and i took a test on the day it came, and it said negative, but the thing is, i have been having all the symptons of pregnancy, and i compared my pictures to that of my friend who is pregnant, and our stomachs look exactly the same. and i have had every single symptom.. but i dont know how this can be if i got my period 2 weeks late

Your test was more than three weeks ago. hCG levels rise rapidly in early pregnancy. Test again, and if it is still negative, you are 95% surely in the clear. With all the signs, perhaps you have cysts, and a doctor visit is advisable. Let us know the outcome, please. GL!
