What will be your response when your child asks the age old question "Where do babies come from?"

I was thinking my response would be somewhat the same. Depending on how old she is when she asks. If she's like ten then I think that's about the age for the s_x talk, but if she's any younger I was thinking "Babies grow in mommy's bellies." and if she asks "how do they get there?" I'd say "Daddies carry seeds, and when they find a mommy they're in love with, the daddy gives the mommy a seed so she can grow the baby."

I agree with you guys. It does depend on age. You have to play the fairytale game until you see that they are old enough to know a little more of real details, and just add on as they get older and more mature.

Yeah I'm always having little conversations with myself in my head about how I'm going to handle questions like these. I don't want to like... LIE to her but at the same time I don't want to traumatize her hahaha.
What age do you guys think is a good age for "The Talk"? I say 10 because when I was 10 me and most of my peers were starting to question everything and wanted boyfriends and stuff like that. That'll just be the simple part of it though, I'd probably get more in depth when she's like 13. I was talking to a friend of mine who said if he ever had kids they'd have the talk at 5!! I was like are you serious?? WHY?? haha. He said that children "discover" themselves at 5. So I was like "Well okay... but they aren't discovering another person!" Hahaha.
