what does jon say when you tell him (in nicer words i'm sure) that his mom's being a royal pain in the a__s? i know it's hard to approach a significant other about their problem parents, but she's not making your living situation any better and actually making it unsafe.

i woudl be firm and tell her to stay out of your business if she plans to stay for much longer, and to respect your wishes and listen to you under your roof. Because she is a guest. if she doesn't like it...i dont care how bad of shape shes in and even though shes family. get rid of her, because children can always sense that hostility

I agree with PB. Ellie trips me out sometimes by how well she understands how I (or someone else) is feeling. I could be having a bad day but smiling my b___t off around her, she still gets really fussy (she has a certain cry when she's feeling emotionally uncomfortable). But when I'm having a good day, not even showing it, she is all smiles and giggles (she's starting to laugh now!!) Anyway, so if you, Jon, and/or his mom is yelling that's far more obvious and damaging. Kick her to the curbbbb.
