The most common first symptoms are morning sickness, eating excessively, sensitivity to smells and, of course, missing your period. There is no particularly easy way to tell your parents, you just have to come out and say it. I wrote a note to my dad but it didn't lessen his reaction in the least.

Chocolate is usually a PMS symptom. That bleeding you experienced could mean something, or nothing at all. If your period is late, you can take a test now.

Did you have s_x at the end of March - what kind of protection if any? Tired and light or missing period are positive signs. Others might include unusually wet down there, peeing more often, weird cramps, appet_te, smells, aches, sensitive nips, diarrhea, emotional, lightheaded moments, runny nose, vivid dreams, trouble sleeping even though tired, acne - all where different from normal PMS. A Dollar Store test on first morning pee should give a positive by now if you are pg. Let your mom decide how to break the news to dad. Good luck!

If you're grown up enough to have s_x you shouldn't feel scared to tell your parents you're doing it. Beside the point... You can buy a pregnancy test for a buck, so why is telling your parents an issue? Look for some change in the sofa, take a walk down to the store... better yet, ride your bike. Technically, though I'm not advising it, you don't have to tell your parents anything unless you are pregnant.

Your mum did her best. Maybe the conversation will start "Mum, you know how you are always talking about sharing?" Add ppowb on Yahoo if you wish. Good luck!
