Hey ya'll. Just wanted to give a quick update. I dont get on here very often anymore. Things have been crazy. We have been extremely busy trying to get the upstairs done in time for the new baby.
At my OB appt Friday my doctor asked what my 1st baby weighed and if they had the same father (which they do). Turns out they are concerned this baby may be under developed because she weights signifigantly less then Rylie did at this point. At 32 weeks this baby weighs 3 lbs 8oz.. So i have to have an ultrasound done every week to keep an eye on her growth.
Satuday after my baby shower our dog got hit by a minivan. We were stopped in the right lane waiting to pull into our driveway and he ran out to the truck and was standing at the drivers side door. The van came and hit him doing 55 mph. Ryan seen it coming but their wasnt enough time to do anything. So Jack got hit right between our truck and the van. Ryan ran and drug him off the road and i held him while he called the emergency vet. Luckily he just got hit and not ran over so his main injury is a shattered leg. Its a very bad injury though. Hes been at the vet hospital since and is scheduled for surgery tomorrow. He has to have steel pins put in his leg.
So life has been crazy lately. Christmas was good. Rylie loved opening her presents. Ill get pics up on myspace eventually. She talking so much these days. Her favorite phrases are "go sit down" and "im coming" or "come here." Hope everyone else is doing well!

Hi NB, 3 pounds 8 oz at 32 weeks is totally spot on average!!! What on earth is your doc saying your baby is so small you have to have u/s each week....? "underdeveloped" as your doc calls it would be at least 3 plus weeks behind at this point and even that is still okay. My 2nd was always 3-4 weeks behind via ultrasound and was born 6.5 pounds...

From early on in pregnancy, babies grow at different rates, so these numbers are merely averages. Your baby's actual length and weight may vary substantially. Don't worry too much if an ultrasound indicates that your baby is much smaller or larger.
32 weeks 16.69 inches 3.75 pounds 42.4 cm 1702 grams

Yes shes right on track for 32 weeks. Its not that shes underweight compared to the normal. Its compared to my 1st child at this point. he said they just want to keep a closer eye on babies that have the same parents and seem to be developing slower then their siblings. Im not complaining about getting additional ultrasounds, I love seeing her!
