based on a 28 day period and a 14 day LP yes a woman might O 14 days before her period. BUT most women do not have this 28 day period and O at different times. The normal LP is between 12-16 days. Therefore again you are wrong.

HI, ENGLISH MAJOR HERE, NO NEED FOR CLASSES. 2 WEEKS IS FROM THE BEGINNING OF YOUR PERIOD UNTIL OVULATION/FERTILIZATION AND THEN 7-10 MORE DAYS TILL IMPLANTATION AND THEN YOU CAN GET A + TEST. YOU MUST BE A FEW TACOS SHORT OF A COMBINATION PLATE IF YOU DON'T GET THAT.

No one is talking on an individual basis here. We are talking averages because the majority of women do have a 28 day cycle. However, if you would like to discuss the million different possibilities and how ovualtion affects longer cycles or shorter than bring it on girl. The average woman will be able to detect pregnancy soon before af arrives or right after .....end of story ......

Emma2, you are definitely mistaken and you are certainly making a fool out of youself. It takes a fertilized egg, on average, 7-10 days to implant in the uterine lining. As soon as it implants it begins producing HCG. With an Early Pregnancy Test (EPT) you can get a positive pregnancy test 4 days BEFORE your missed period, depending on when implantation occured. With my daughter I got a positive result 3 days before my missed period and with the baby that I am pregnant with now I got a positive test 3 days before my missed period again. It is (very) possible to get a positive test before your period with an EPT. In FACT (since your so into FACTS) when using the First Response test the chances of you getting a positive test (if you are in fact pregnant) 4 days before your missed period are 63% 3 days before you're missed period your chances are 83% 2 days before your missed period your chances are 93% and 1 day before your missed period is also 93%.

They're right Emma2. You're wrong. Its not even that hard to find the right info. Seriously. Google it. I got my BFP before AF was due. Also, I thought everyone knew stress is bad for your baby? I thought that was a well known fact.

Okies Girls dont bother obviously she is so right, and knows everything despite the facts that are clearly stated here by a professional:
According to a team of researchers in the U.S., women who exhibit signs of stress are three times more likely to miscarry during the first three weeks of the pregnancy. When you stress your baby stresses, your blood pressure rises , some studies have suggested that prolonged, severe stress in early pregnancy can increase your chances of pregnancy complications, such as pre-eclampsia and premature birth. And to be a little more personal, i found when ttc I fell pregnant when i was more relaxed, i put my whole focus on 3 months of ttc and did not concieve, the month i stopped trying and let nature take it's course and BAM i was pregnant, i have spoken to several women who this has happened to as well. So Evidently EMMA2 no matter what you say stress can play some factor, whether big or small.
And to clear up about implantation and Fertilization, it can take up to six days after intercourse for the sperm and egg to join and form a fertilized egg. Then, it can take six to 10 days for the fertilized egg to completely implant itself in the lining of the uterus. Pregnancy begins during implantation when the hormones needed to support pregnancy are released. They Provide HPT's now that can pick up pregnancy hormones 5 Days before AF is due, In 2 of my own pregnancy's I Bled about 5 weeks into my pregnancy brown spotting, or implantation bleeding. Now All that is given in a standard 28 day cycle, some women vary, and may ovulate sooner or later than they realise but it still takes roughly 6-10 days to implant. All this information is what was provided to me by my dr, a credited professional, and researched facts. Theres not much mroe to it, and it's amazing what our body accomplishes in a month. Anyway Girls, you cant please everyone, if your satisfied with what you know, then who gives a rats left Teste what a person who doesnt know you froma bar of soap says. Hehe Baby Juice Thanks Jennifer and the other Gals.

Alright, it's either all you guys are unable to comprehend english or your just plain stupid. NO one is disputing the time line of implantation. I am not wrong and i never said anything about this being only the timeline for Implatation. I have stated implantation on averages happens on 9.1 days after "o'. The average women yes unfortunately for those who don't like it have a 28 day cycle , hence the "text book" comment. I was reffering to day of "o" to day of expected period. The luteal phase is the most consistant no matter how long or short your cycle is..and IT IS APROX 2 WEEKS AFTER "O". iF YOU GUYS WANNA DISPUTE AND ARGUE SOME MORE DO IT WITH YOUR DR AND YOU'LL SEE WHO IS THE FOOL HERE.

GimmeaBub BY THE WAY you 5 day comment of PT doesnt apply here because i'm not talking about when pregnancy is established. The poster asked if it was early to tell if shes pregnant and most women will not a positive or a true answer until af is set to arrive or slightly just before. We are discussing averages here ...I test 3 days prior and yes i got a positive but in the medical world they recommend testing day of a missed period for a freaking reason. I'm sorry to inform you little girls but i am very well educated and i know exactly what i'm talking about .
