I don't know what to do for Christmas! Usually we just have a gift exchange, but I wanted to do something fun for Ellie (my 6 month old dd) Truth be told I'm not sure there is anything fun for her to do, she's just too young. She does her favorite things every day :P Eat, go for walks, and poop. Haha. You know what my sister did for my nephew's birthday is she took one of those b__w up kiddy pools, but instead of water she filled it up with b___s like they have at McDonald's in the play area. The kids LOVED it. She also had a little bounce house. All the kids that were there kept saying "WOW THIS IS GREAT!"

ahha yea i was gunna do that for him last year but i decided not to!! and last year for his first birthday i had like 20 kids all under 2 it was horrible so i was thinking small... maybe i could do just a mcdonalds thing that would be fun austin LOVES mcdonalds and i getta sit and talk and he runs around the play place like he never wants to leave!! have you been to like a go bananas? i think that may be to old for him but i kinna wanna try. 6 months is hard to find specail things to do with kids at christmas even last year when he was almost 1 he didnt get the concept this year he is SOO excited but not about presents its more about lighting "his" tree i think we could just have a christmas tree up and he would think its the coolest thing in the world!

Yeah we just put up our tree tonight and my son spent the whole night dancing around it. He kept stopping and going "AWW!" God I'm so excited for Christmas and this year is a cinch because he sees the boxes of presents but isn't that interested! So it's easy keeping them hidden. Thank God! Guccigal-I get the stress of the second birthday. Right now everything is so important to me because his first year SUCKED! His first Christmas sucked-I mean we didn't even have a real tree. Just one of those mini ones that looks like it could fit into barbie's dream house. His first birthday I tried to bake a cake and invite family over but no one came and he ended up getting the flu the day before and the fever hit the afternoon of his b-day. His second b-day is on early next month and I don't know what to do. I know I'm going to get him a tricycle but planning something where people will actually come and not cause drama........ Amanda-I think at Ellie's age, the most excitement she can get is from seeing the lights. I took B out to a thing they have out here every year where they have christmas lights covering a section of the lake/park. He loved that. Also, he enjoyed visiting houses that had great light displays and the twinkling or blinking lights is the best to them. Other than that, she is just going to enjoy whatever new toys she gets. Trust me, next year is going to roll around and you are really going to do it up!!! Just try to remember that!

Yeah, it seems like Christmas is just going to be any old day for us. My brothers and sisters are going to be with my dad for it, so I decided to stay home with Harold and Ellie. Because of that, we had a mini-Christmas yesterday. I got Ellie to grab one corner of the wrapping paper then I ripped it for her. She got a little light-up book that she loves. My mom couldn't be there so she said she'd do her best to be by on Christmas Day. I have a sneaking suspicion Harold is going to re-propose to me on Christmas eve :D

aww that sounds like a horrible christmas and birthday!!! yea last year i did to much and i was too stressed at his party and mad and i have almost 20 kids under 2 and then parents and family and the kids all ripped open austins presents so he didnt even get to open anything it was pretty bad! this year im getting him fishies! HAHA my brother has a tank and he is IN LOVE with it, i got him a tricycle for christmas but i hate having christmas and birthday in the winter cuz where is he gunna ride the trike?? I think this year will be a good christmas cuz the family decided not to do presents and that its too stressful and we dont have money so we got a family pic done and the grandparents get those and we will just do a nice dinner hopefully with no drama cuz we didnt invite the drama ppl. ohh amanda you think he will re-propose HAHA that would be good, i got a ring too this year :D :D yay he already gave it to me, its just little but he said for not it will have to do until he can buy me a big one! im just happy to finally have a ring on my finger! its like its actually official now you know, its weird and i mean our kid is almost 2 but just the little ring makes me feel like HA look at me i got a ring and a kid and you can look at me like im just another young mom!! Are you excited to see if he does re-propose? hopefully he does it in a nice romantic way!! with candles and i dunno im just a hopeless romantic! haha

This'll be like the third time for us haha. The first time he didn't have a ring, the second time we separated a few months later. We were having problems for a little while, he moved out for a whole two days haha. I'm not 100% sure, he just kept asking "Do you have any plans for Christmas eve? You aren't doing anything, right? You're not going anywhere?" If he had asked once I would have b__wn it off but he keeps asking so I figure he's got something up his sleeve. We'll see!

haha thats ok the first time i got proposed to i didnt have a ring either! and everyone told me thats not a real proposal so i cant wait on christmas to show up and be like MUHAHAHA i got my ring!! even though its not the REAL ring it will be on my finger. haha and if he was only out for like 2 days i dont really think that can be considered a separation and if you do love him and he loves you why not, i mean relationships are hard through a kid in the mix and its like a major hurricane coming through! LOL maybe he just wants to ge together christmas eve? but it does sound VERY suspicious. guys are soooo obvious sometimes!! well ill be thinking about you that day!

I love my ring :) I was so sad to give it back haha. After the 100th time he asked me what I'm doing on Christmas eve, I said "Nothing... Did you want to do anything?" and he said "No, no I'm just wondering." B___tt maybe not, because it's tomorrow and he woke up this morning with a really bad cold. He might have to move the date :) We 'separated' in October and we've been saying that we should take it slow since then... but everyday I'm like "I wanna go back to being engaged!"

ohhhhhh you gave the ring back i wouldnt! HAHA i told him already if we break it off i keep the ring! thats ok though and yea you wanna go back to being engaged right away but maybe its good to keep things slow otherwise you expect to much

Aw you guys!!!! I'm so happy for you and at the same time, YOU'RE KILLING ME!!! TONE IT DOWN A NOTCH FOR THE MISERABLE IN LOVE! LOL! No, Christmas is just hard because my ex and I always had so much fun this time of year. BUUUTTT me and B are having lots of fun, and I'm actually getting ready to wrap his presents and put them under the tree. PLUS I got to pick my own present from my dad and I ordered the rest of the Twilight series online (I stayed up all night reading the first book a week ago and couldn't find the second book ANYWHERE), so they should be here a couple of days after Christmas. That'll be my romancing for the holidays. LOL, so you guys can carry on about your sweet guys!!! Much love to you, and if I don't get back on before Christmas, Merry Christmas, and I really do love you guys!!! (The holiday spirit has made me sappy-heck even my sister who is usually without any human emotion has been giving and sweet-It's a christmas miracle!)

Aww! I haven't gotten into the Christmas spirit in 5 years. That whole depression thing kind of ruined it for me :P I'm so happy to enjoy Christmas like I used to, even though my family isn't really going to be together this year. Which sucks, I love my brother and sister... I never get to spend any time with them outside of the holidays. I didn't spend Thanksgiving with them either. I finished buying everyones gifts like a week ago :) My uncle got Ellie this tiny rocking horse that neys and wiggles its tail. He didn't wrap it, he just put a bow on it, but he put it under our tree. I might let her play with it before Christmas, it's just too cute. And it's funny because it's big enough for her to sit on but our tree is one of those 18" fake trees haha.

aww V9653 its ok if you want we can be your holiday lovers! we will turn on the christmas log on tv, and we can have hot chocolate and message eachother cute lovey dovey sayings over the computer HAHAHA you know i always hated christmas was i was little my mom is a little extreme when it comes to christmas and the last few years i just didnt want to do anything but this year i was sooo excited because we werent doing presents so no stress of getting ppl the best present or being more broke then i already am!! and it was gunna be a nice dinner and now we are snowed in.... it doesnt snow usually where i live and i have three feet of snow outside my door HAHAHA thank god i told my dad to send austin a snow suit for christmas and then i laughed and said not like we will ever have to use it , well the snow is over his head so he definatly needed the suit!! hey today is christmas eve AMANDA im hoping you get a special presents today! haha anyways i should clean my house since it looks like a tornado came through my front door, and that doesnt look good for christmas morning pictures! merry christmas girls i hope a;; your holiday wishes come true!!

Haha thanks gucci but I'm starting to think maybe today isn't the day. His mom is coming down for the day and he doesn't get along too well with her. V! I wanted to tell you, you were so right about switching formulas. Once I got Ellie drinking juice out of a bottle, I started giving her b___st milk. I tried giving her Enfamil and she refused it, so I started mixing b___st milk and formula and she still didn't like it. Then I realized I hadn't tried Similac, and she drank it all up! 4oz! I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere! Which is good because I think I'm starting to dry up from pumping too much. I'm so excited, now I can take her out places without having to worry about her feeding schedule :D

sooo amanda, im guessing you didnt get the ring since you didnt say anything, aww i had a good christmas though just a quiet little one, watching austin was enough of a christmas present!! he was sooo cute and LOVES his bicycle, thats good that you finally got her to drink formula, i had to change austins too although he is an eater so he wasnt to picky he just wanted food! HAHA how was your girls' christmas' did ya'll get spoiled? haha

Oh god christmas was too tiring to even think about romance. LOL! But it was a GREAT christmas! It was so frigging funny because I got that great "victory over a breakup" moment on Christmas eve. My ex popped up to see if I needed anything (really random because usually he'd call or text and ask!). I was taking a nap with my son and was shocked so I didn't open the door all the way or ask him in. He looked around and saw the decorated apartment, and how happy we were and I literally watched his heart break in front of me! I quickly told him that I was completely capable of getting anything we needed and was getting ready to close the door but he lingered and started asking about the tree and presents. I'm like what the hell??? It's like he can't stand that we have a life without him, so why didn't he try to stay? Or maybe he just wanted us to be miserable. Anyway, he sad-sacked away after b___hing about how sucky his christmas was going to be and I just told him "It is what you make it, you made it sucky, so it's going to suck!" Then started to close the door! LOL! It made my frigging day. So Christmas my son and I were so anxious we woke up at 4 in the morning. Opened his gifts at 6! He loved it! He was in heaven. In the evening we went to my sister's and actually acted like a real family. The greatest miracle of the day was that my mom is so preoccupied with her bf that she didn't come over, didn't really want to be bothered with us, so I only had to spend 15 minutes at her house. Just long enough to pick up our sucky a__s presents. LOL! Amanda-I'm happy to hear that the formula idea worked out. Trust me I'm no expert on the mommy subject, I'm only a year ahead of you, and on the first child. I really didn't do to much figuring out, but I just tend to try what I'm giving my son. With the formula, like I said, he did the same thing. I went to the hospital and he had to be given formula at 3 months and it was enfamil and he took it. I tried to give him the formula again later and he completely detested it. I tasted it, and it really tasted like dog food. The similac really doesn't have that taste. I test all bathing products in my eyes since they claim to be no tear (not all of them are as gentle as they claim). That method will save you a lot of trouble-well in a way it will because you are going to have burning eyes and taste some nasty foods-lol! Anyway, I can't wait to hear how christmas went for you! Guccigal-glad to hear Christmas turned out good despite all the snow! So I'm guessing that your son's birthday is sometime around my son's so hows the party planning coming?

I'M SO PROUD OF YOU V!!!! You just made my day! Good for you for saying that to him! I'm glad you had a good Christmas. I did too. Ellie was late waking up, so we didn't start the day until 8. I made Harold and I fresh toast, eggs and bacon for breakfast. Ellie ate her cereal at the table with us :) Then we opened presents and went to a Christmas party... where we opened more presents :) Ellie was soooo good, I swear she's a different baby now that she's on formula. She met a bunch of people and wasn't bothered. She even let them hold her. She took a nap on their sofa too :P We stayed until about 4 because Harold was feeling sick. We were all so tired, we all fell asleep at like 5. Even Ellie! She didn't get her bath so I'm amazed she fell asleep. Oh and there was this little boy at the party, who was like 6 or 7. I guess he heard about Ellie and was telling his mom he was so excited to meet her.. Then when he did he was so shy and hid behind his mom's leg lol! It was so cute. And yep Harold didn't propose. Someone let it slip that he's planning to later :D
