Congratulations! Most of the girls say in the end it is just best to blurt it out. You can work on the intro if you like. Flowers, card, big help cleaning house, start a convo of about how it feels to give birth, run your spare hpt and carry it to her saying "does this mean what I think it does"? Please don't delay. She is going to be sharing the responsibilities, so she deserves to know soonest. GL!

okay my advice is just tell her. dont hold back youll need her support. i dont think you should have s_x if your not ready for a baby. it hurttts! personaly i like other things better then s_x. but please NEVER consider abortion! im againt adoption too but anything is better then abortion. im here to talk :) CONGRATULATIONS!!!! i wish you luck! have you thought of any names?? is your boyfriend there for you? does he know?

yullthink, get it over with! You can't hide it forever, and she'll appreciate you sharing early. Wait till she is sitting down and realxed, then ask "If I ever got pregnant, would you want me to keep it a secret as long as possible, or tell you right away?" Please come back and tell us all how it goes - we need the input. GL!

Hey, I turned 17 in April and im 4 weeks pregnant. The only difference is I planned to start my family early so this is a wonderful expected baby. :D
When it comes to telling your mum, I think you just need to to get her alone, make sure she is in a good mood, then ask her for her support, and tell her you're pregnant. She will most likely be disappointed and angry, but give her a couple of days or so and if she really loves and cares for you, she'll be on your side. Good Luck :)

Hi, I am a producer working on a new talk show for WGN in Chicago (NOT SPRINGER) and am doing an episode about pregnant girls and young women...It sounds like you are worried about telling your mom or have you already told her? ...If you are interested in bringing her on the show to tell her, I would love to talk with you and give you all the details.. I am flying people out this weekend so give me a call back at 312-527-8953...
Thanks
Sarah

Prego_Player......Why would you not tell you mother? Have you gone to the doctor? Are you receiving the right prenatal care for your baby and you? That is crazy! Not telling your mom will only make the situation worse. Understanding she will be upset with you but it wont last forever. How do you think she will feel when she finds out you have been hiding something so big and so important for months? That is her grand baby in there. Do you plan on supporting this child on your own? Do you have a full time job for diapers, formula, daycare, etc. TELL YOUR MOTHER!!!
