im pregnant.. but i dont know how to tell my parents :(
i have a alcoholic step dad..
and a semi alcoholic mom
my family has been torn apart, by heroin(older brother) and things like that..
would they be used to the shock?
im 16 hes 17

Hugs! Not a pretty picture. The parents will probably take it in stride, uless one is a rage-aholic. If you are going to go through with this, perhaps the best thing would be to ask if you could move in with the bf family, or are they in no better shape? well, my mums not a hardcore.. but she doesnt stay out late, and she wont drive at night, which scares me, because what if i go into labor during the night?
my step father has cancer.. and they both smoke. it would NOT be a good enviorment to bring a child into.
i know this already, im only 16, but im VERY mature, VERY dedicated, and VERY ambitious, if i want some thing bad enough, ill find a way to get it.
His father is battling ASL, schedualed to die in january.

But his family is in WAY better shape then mine.
ive called planned parenthood, they didnt tell me anything but they are going to find out sooner or later..
and it would be better to tell them, so they feel important..
Im just, worried

Tell them - maybe it will give their life a new focus. Do you know your birth father? Maybe he would take you in. Arrange with a friend or neighbor to take you to delivery. GL!
