that i'm pregnant. about 2 weeks along. i'm 15 years old, and have been with my boyfriend for about 9 months... it was the first time we ever did anything and i really didn't expect this? he's totally fine with me keeping the baby, but i don't know if thats what i want... i can't imagine telling my mom, she's always talked to me about abstinance and trusted me to make good choices... i looked up abortion laws in my state and you have to have parental permission if you're under 17, or you can get a judicial bipass, both seem close to impossible... i really just can't believe this happened, and i'm trying not to be a drama queen about it but i don't know where to go from here?

either way it looks like you have to tell your mom, so see how she reacts. you may be surprised. and by 2 weeks along, do you mean it's been 2 weeks since you've missed your period?

Honey, you need to get to a doctor as soon as possible because just that response scares me. Here is the thing-scientifically speaking, when a woman tell you how far along she is in a pregnancy, it is based of the last real period she had before conceiving. So you are always going to be two weeks ahead of how long it's been since you actually conceived. Trying to base a due date on conception is so hard, because you don't conceive when you have s_x-you conceive a few days to a week and a half later! So when you say you are two weeks along, that is pretty much telling people that you are just now conceiving! So if you are trying to say that it's been two weeks since the s_x that caused conception then you are actually medically considered to be 4 weeks pregnant-which is usually when most women are just able to get a positive on a pregnancy test. Get what I'm saying?

i'm going to guess, then that you have only just missed your period. dunno why but for some reason tonight trying to figure out how far along someone is gives me a headache lol. i blame the migraine i just had.

hmm correct me if im wrong but when you miss a period are you not allready 4 weeks along as they count pregnancy for the first day of your last period.............
