oh well i wish i could visit the hospitals you have then

Our hospitals aren't amazing or anything. Now the one I WISH I could give birth at is. They give you a back ma__sage all sorts of things after birth. The one I gave birth with Addy at was alright. Pretty nice and that. This one.. I'm kind of worried about. I don't like the hospital all that much.

no you dont, ti cost my husband 800$ to sit in the emergency room for 4 hours and two pills he could have bought at the store....fora 104 temperature.

pb i was meaning the nhs hospitals you have visited if you think there ok....i was sat in emergency for 4hours having contractions! let alone paying 8oo lol tess the hospital i am giving birth in doesnt even let fathers stay over night!! when you give birth you are in maternity ward which obviously if you are giving birth at 4am the fatrher can be there but they move you to freya ward after you give birth which is the ward i admitted me to at 5am mionday and told my partner he had to leave!! at 5am!! he had to ring my mum to come and get him!

That's pretty c___ppy. At least the ones here let you have anyone stay the night up to two people. They give a chair and a sleeper sofa in the room. Which is like, not great compared to the hospital I WAS in. That's really c___ppy. Sorry.

Oh yes angel...your right. I'm wrong. Its sinful the way you get free healthcare while millions of people in america are paying thousands just to have children as their human right. yes, all those medical bills....they surely are all mistaken...they are truely lucky to have to pay all that money for care of sickness....honestly. why didn't i see it before ...how unlucky i am that the nhs gives me free healthcare.....wow.....god angel. Use your head. Your pathetic little tesco job couldn't stand all those medical bills. I should know. it cost my parents 8000 american dollars to fix my teeth, it cost them 2000 more for check ups, it cost them 10,000 for at least 5 of my surgerys, it cost 500 for each appointment to check the results of those surgeries.....thank god they had insurance through my fahters state job otherwise they wuold have just LET ME GO COMPLETELY DEAF. I wouldn't blame them either for all the ammount of money it costs. You wouldn't be able to afford pregnancy over there. check ups, medicines, drugs, a bed, delivery, doctors, pain medication, ultrasounds, 3 d ultrasounds...and any emergency you might have while pregnant. Honestly, you have no idea what your asking when you say you wish you had to pay for good healtcare. Thats extremely idiotic.

free healthcare is better than healthcare that someone doesn't get. women who are afraid to go to the hospital for ultrasounds when they can't get healthcare............its honestly sinful and plain common sense to think that free was bad. God.

It costs me 5,200$ a year just to have the insurance that will allow me to go to my doctors even then I have a copay, I have to pay 15% of all bills, etc etc etc. Addy cost me $1,500+ just to give birth. $100 per ultrasound( I had 3) Sucky sucky ma__sively but our insurance is better right now. I think I have with doctor visits and all that like $800 for all the lab fees etc etc having gone to the ER.. that I had to pay this pregnancy lol

yeah i know, but she doesn't udnerstand how lucky she is. I've experienced both and i prefer the NHS. they are amazing for not having to pay a thing. Honestly they are. I get all my drugs, regular check ups, blood tests and seeing my GP often to check on me.

oh for god sake pb just shut up! im not moaning that its free have you ever paid texes! what do you think that goes towards? so actually its not free i do pay for my hospital care which is c___p! i still think they shouldnt put the amount of lives at risks they shouldnt shove people on the streets at 5am! tess that sounds good! i supose as long as he is aloud there in the birthing ward they have like chairs ect but hopfully he wont be sleeping while im giving birth anyway lol! but the ward they send you to to recover your only aloud family members there 10am till 10pm and friends and stuff 1.30pm till 3pm and then 6pm till 8pm! and you have to stay there a couple of nights! im sure we,l manage though! it just means i,ll have to do the 1st couple of nights with out him

yes angel retard. You were complaining about your healthcare and the NHS. I know how to read. Also i do know what taxes are. I have to pay not only to YOUR government but to the united states as well. And sorry but not all the U.k taxes go towards healthcare...and the taxes you do pay, dont cost as much as the hospitals in the united states without insurance. tess i dont think things are going to be fixed by the change of one guy. one can hope...but i still think its going to take a many years for the usa to get fixed. The u.k is going into recession as well. or heading for it...so hopefully everything will be okay. i think the whole world is having the same problems at the moment.

pb so what? yes i do complain about my free healthcare! i,d rather pay for it if it ment they done there jobs better and didnt put so many peoples lives at risk! whats your point? you think im selfish? oh well...... tess yea i was pretty p__sed at 5am when they were like ok your partner has to go now! i was like what if i give birth! what if something happens! they didnt care they were just like we dont cater for fathers on this ward! he told them he had know where to go as the hospital is about a 25min drive from are flat and we left in such a rush we had no money on us! so for all they knew he was going out to slepp on the streets! luckliy my mum came and picked him up! they totally sucked about everything they did! they left me in a roon for an hour and then the contractions started to get really painfull so tonie wen tot find someone to help and she was like ok i,ll just finish my sandwhich then came and offered me parecatamal!!! i was like WHAT! it wasn,t until about 2 1/2 hours after we got there that they took notive of me and then started panicking that i was having contractions! there really rubbish!

oh yes, and since your healthcare IS free, don't be a choosy beggar. you don't know how much better you have it. to see someone who's arm turned green/grey from giving blood and then to hear them say they won't see a doctor because they don't have insurance makes me sick. at least you can go every time you feel like it. do you know how many people die here because they can't see a doctor due to lack of insurance?

i was just saying that because pb was moaning.......tbh i,d rather have nhs any day than have to pay (even though i do in my taxes) but my b___h wsa just about how bad some docs and nurses are! i mean i got seen straight away as you do when you get taken in an ambulance but once they gave me a few pokes it was oh i,ll just go and get the ob which took like an hour! at that point my contractions were so bad i really thought that was it so when toniefound someonethey were like oh i,ll just finish my sandwhich when came and offered me parecatamal!! i mean WTF! im in labour and you offer me paracetamal! once they finally admitted me after 4hours it wasnt so bad they gave me gas and air even though th contractions has pretty much turned in to BH and monitered me ect but jeesh kicking my boyfriend out at 5am! but yea thats what its likehere when you go to A&E you wait foir hoursd andsee peoplewith a cut go in before someone with a hammer in there head! not quite that bad but you see my point lol

what you pay in taxes isn't much considering what americans have to pay for semi-decent insurance. my husband pays over 10% of his gross paycheck towards health insurance and it still isn't that great. i think doctors should be paid based on how quickly they see their patients and treat them and treat them right. if they screw around, they make no money. gee, no island vacation for them. stupid doctors here try to encourage procedures that don't need to be done so they can make their vacation fund for the year.
