I am really confused. I found out that I am pregnant on 12-29-05. On Jan 6, 06 I started my period. I went to the emergency room that day and was told that my hcG levels showed that i was 2 weeks along. They told me that i could have a miscarriage and to keep checking to see if my cervix stays closed or if it is open. My cervix never opened and stayed hard. I still had the mood swings, bloating (alot), b___st enlargement, and ma__sive heartburn from things like water, juice, stuff like that. Then on the 8th of Feb. I started bleeding again, period like, and just my lower back hurts. I am not sure if I am having a miscarriage. I have been told that you can have periods during pregnancy. My belly is growing and I can feel where my uterus is. I just feel uncomfortable and not knowing is getting to me. If any one has gone through the same thing please let me know how to work with this. My insurance does not kick in until March 1st and I have an OB/Gyn apt. on the 2nd. So anyone who can help me is welcome to email me at acg0143@yahoo.com. thank you

YOUR PERIOD IS THE SHEDDING OF YOUR UTERINE WALL AND IF THAT HAPPENED WHILE YOU WERE PREGNANT YOU WOULD HAVE/BE HAVING A MISCARRIAGE......thank you kittie

Me and my fiance have been haveing unprotected s_x I have been feeling very sick and vomiting but my pregnancy test came up negative and I got my period but there are alot of weird thing happeing with my body Im craveing choclate chip cookies and skittles and smells also make me sick to my stomach My back is hurting me more then normal Could I be pregant even with my Period.

well ladies i don't know wat to say cause i am trying to understand wat it is i'm going thru. I was wondering maybe you'all can help me. Um.... I had my period 8 days early and it was normal but then a week later i had it again and it lasted 2 week but it was light and spotting.Then a month later i got my period and it last only two days and i had very bad cramp, I never get cramps. then i was 5 days late and it lasted 3 days and i had very bad cramp as well. I had pain in the bottom of my stomauch mostly on my left side and i feel sick sometimes. My stomach did get bigger quick and i do feel something moving sometimes but it is not that hard. I pee like every 5 minute and i do #2 more than usual. I did the test 2 times and it came out neg. I even got an ultersound, the person who did said that she thinks i'm pregnant and show me the pic. and explained to me. However my doctor told me im not. I don't know wat the hell to think and i am still have the sympstoms it's been going on for almost 3 month now amd i got the ultersound and the test done a month ago. Has anyone had these symtoms then found out they were pregnant, if not does anyone know wat i could be.

I don't know. But if I end up finding out that I'm pregnant now then I guess my next answer will be yes. I've never thought that I was pregnant before, because I never thought that I could get pregnant. At a very young age, my doctor told me that my fallopian tubes were blocked and would stay that way and that I therefore could NOT get pregnant. But I've been experiencing symptoms for about a couple months now... dizziness, increased hunger, nausea, increased heart rate, constipation, fatigue, the most insane cravings (frozen tater tots, for example), etc... The list goes on. However, I've had what seemed to be two completely normal periods. The slightest thought of possibly being pregnant is really weird for me because I always viewed my clogged tubes as a blessing since I've never had the least bit of desire to have children and hubby doesn't want any either. Do you guys think that tubes can become unblocked over time?

ebony, you would have been around 8 weeks whe you got your u/s done, and to have a tech say "i think you are" is a little unsettleing. id request a new tech. You period seems to be out of wack and to still test neg well that is giving you your answer. id be going back to your doc to find out why your period is so wonky. dazed and confused, im not sure if your tubes can get unblocked over time but can your doctor not test you to find out if they are still blocked or not. my answer to you is if you have had 2 normal periods, you are not pregnant, it is possible to give yourself symptoms though so id just try and relax a bit.

im pretty shore that i am pregnant i have all the weirdest symptoms...weird bloody taste in ma mouth,feel disgusted after i eat,gag if smell certain foods or scents,my b___bs are super sore and have gotten larger,my nipples look different,my areolas have darkened,i feel dizzy when i suddenly stand up,leg cramps,back/lower back pain,my stomack and lower stomach feel hard and boated,i go to the bathroom about 3-5 times in an hour,im very thirsty all of the time,i feel like my skin is burning i get sudden temperature changes,feel mad or like cryng for dumm things(which is not like me),my skin has been very itchy and iv been getting random 2-3 colds,my hips hurt and some of my thighs,i got heartburn....after i had unprotected s_x and my boyf came in me lik 3 times in my most fertile week the next week i had what would have been my last period(the symptoms i listed above have gotten worse along the way)BUT it was a very light period with darkish brown color to it AND it lasted for 11 DAYS!!! the symptoms started to appear more and more throught the days...now im in my lik my 6 week and i got what im guessing is my period a week earlier than the time i would have gotten it..i have very bad back pain still got all the symptoms i listed, the period started with blood since the first time i went to the bathroom and wiped myself...now is my third day withit and is a very bright red color somewhere in between medium an heavy...im pretty shore that im pregnant cuz i feel it, im only 15 years old and my mom is starting to question me but im scared to tell her because im not 100% shoure..DO YOU THINK I COULD BE PREGNANT??

The best thing you can do is tell your parents, i told my dad today, even though i live on my own and i am due in 12 and i wish i woul dhave told him sooner as he supports me immensly, i think you need to go to the doctor and get them to do a test to be sure! GL

hi... i have been wondering the same question. I took two pregnancy tests and they resulted negative... and I've gotten two periods... I dont why i still think i might be pregnant. I can't get over the idea... The only sign i have is that my b___sts have this weird burning sensation soon after both my periods and i've never felt that before. And other thing i noticed is that when my first period came i spotted for three days and then got a regular period. Please someone help me!!! tell me what you think!!! OOOOOh right i forgot the most important one... I've been feeling b___terflies not on my stomach on my womb!!!!! is this all in my head???

It sounds like the original poster was talking about implantation bleeding, your question is totally different. There have been some fairly rare cases when a woman can get a regular period during her pregnancy. Up to 5 months is the longest I've heard about. And even more rarely, some women repet_tively get false negatives. But those two rares happening in one person? Highly unlikely.

yes you're probably right... I just needed someone to tell me It's imposible.... I'll just stop thinking about it.

If it's really bothering you that much, there's a small chance you can get your doctor to agree to an ultrasound or sonogram if all the tests are negative... but in most cases they won't bother. If you can't get him to do it, you're just going to have to take 'not pregnant' as an answer.
