My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant with our second child for about a month now. A few weeks ago I had my period a week early and it only lasted for a few days. I have had several periods over the last few months. i'll go anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 days before starting again. i went to doctor to get on the pill to fix my periods and found out i was pregnant. i had been bleeding for over a week when i went to the doctor and have continued to bleed. its been about 2 1/2 weeks now. last night i started bleeding more heavily and it has continued today. no clotting or anything, a little cramping today but not bad. i had a miscarriage 2 years ago but it was nothing like this. should i be worried? my doc is out of town for a couple of weeks

OK I am only 16 and i am woundering if i am pregnant or not i really need some help from you guys. OK me and my boyfriend had unprotected s_x during my period and then i was feeling sick, so we figured i was pregnant and there was no use for protection. Well we have had s_x almost twice a night for the whole month with him c_mming inside of me every time and 2 weeks ago i started what i thought was spotting and it was really really light so i knew it wasnt my period, but then it started to get like my period just not quite as heavy because i get really heavy periods. But if it was my period it was 3 days early. I took a pregnancy test but it was one that you arent supposed to take untill after you miss your period it came out negative. I am really confused because i thought that i was pregnant and now i am not sure. He is being totally sweet about the whole thing and wants to tell my parents but I dont want to tell them that i am pregnant unless i really am please help. Am i pregnant?

Kenina- If your period did not seem normal, wait two weeks and use a home pg test. Or see your doctor. ???- You haven't mentioned any other symptoms since the "period" you had two weeks ago. Try using another home pg test this weekend. It's highly likely that you are pg if you had unprotected s_x so often. Amanda- Some lucky women do not have morning sickness when they are pregnant. If you suspect that you're pregnant use a test.

I think that sometimes people either want to be pregnant so bad, or dont want to be pregnant so much that they just dont listent to the signs that their body is giving them. I want to be pregnant so much that I have my period now and would still like to think I am because it is light. I mean it can happen. My next door neighbor had light periods for 5 months during pregnancy and her daughter is 14 now. I am sure I am not pregnant, but it sure would be nice. I have an appointment sometime this week.

I took the Depo Provera shot on April 2nd...the shot is suppose to last 3 months! But my boyfriend and I have had unprotected s_x! I am no longer taking that shot any more and it suppose to wear off by July 2nd....I am having many pregnancy symptoms! But I am kinda bleeding not really bad but sometimes it is brown and sometimes bright red! I am going to the doctor on July 7th (this thursday) but what does everyone think...could i be pregnant even if i was on the shot?

A blood test can detect pregnancy as early as 7 days AFTER concpetion. Keep in mind conception can somtimes take a while.

Sun, in my experience the depo shots are not that reliable. Combined with condoms and other forms of birth conrtol they may become more effective. I know 2 women who have gotten pregnant on the shot, using that as their only form of protection.
