Sun, in my experience the depo shots are not that reliable. Combined with condoms and other forms of birth conrtol they may become more effective. I know 2 women who have gotten pregnant on the shot, using that as their only form of protection.

Ok well today I kinda started bleeding red a little today but it was only for like 10 min. and then it went away. My boyfriend and I did it ALOT without a condom....but then again I was on Depo Provera. I don't know but I am soo confused!! Could I bleed and still be pregnant? The last time I had s_x was Monday....could the doctors be able to tell by tomorrow if I am pregnant or not? someone please help i am sooo nervous!! Am I bothering ne one by asking soo many questions?

No its okay, we are here to help you, so dont feel bad for trying to inform yourslef. You can bleed while you are pregnant. Alot of women have implantation bleeding, which can vary in length & heaviness. But generally it is said to be shorter & lighter than a normal period would be, and can occur at or around the time your normal period would be too. So if youve had unprotected s_x, and your depo shot wore off on July 2, then you have a valid reason to worry about being pregnant. Honestly the Dr. will probably give you a urine pg test, if you havent already done one yourself. And if its neg then he will probably tell you to wait and see if you have a normal period next month. I had a light/short period last month, and thats what my Dr did. I am due again tomorow so I will finally (yea!) find out if I am pregnant myself or not. And also If your having IB, then you didnt just concieve on monday. It would have had to be 8-12 days ago, so the Doc may or may not be able to tell if you are pg or not. IB= Implantation Bleeding. I know how you feel. I was pregnant when I was 19 and miscarried at 4 1/2 months. Now I am 22 and think Im pg again! Ahhh! lol

Yeah I usually start my perdio between 2-5th....but today I started bleeding like bright red blood but not very much and not very long. It really scared me tho. My stomach feels hard. My back hurts. And I am sooo freaking tired. But could that be that I am about to start my period? My boyfriend and I have had unprotected s_x atleast 4 times between friday-monday.....

Do you think it is possible to get pregnant while taking Depo Provera??? I mean I only took one shot of it....but I had unprotected s_x many times while on it. Do u think Cum could of overrode the shot and got me pregnant? I dunno..I am scared out of my mind..my stomach some kinda pains..I go to the doctor tomorrow night.....everyone pray for me

Yes, you can have spotting and some women have some bleeding that appears to be their period.

im goin through the same thing.. i have been havin syptoms and its weird.. im on birth control and im suppose to take it at the exact time every night but i forget somtimes and take it like an hour to late.. could i be pregnant? im really scared.. and i dont know what to do.. help me plz..

Yes. The results were negative....but the thing is I KNOW I am maybe it just is to early to tell soo I am going to wait it out a couple more weeks and then go test again.

Yes, you can have your period while pregnant. I've had a friend tell me hers was like a normal period through most of her term. There are also a variety of reasons you can bleed in the first trimester, and you should ask your doctor. Those of you who keep asking "Am I pregnant," and giving us facts and dates pertaining to your cycle and s_x life, even if you tell us your symptoms, we can't diagnose you. If you are worried, go to the drug store and get a test. Also, early pregnancy symptoms are a lot like impending menstruation and/or stress, including an upset stomach. Not to mention, those of you who are younger (like those in your teens, and some in early twenties), still have "screwy hormones," your period is not quite as predictable as you would like to believe. Even if you actually miss a period, it doesn't always mean you are pregnant. Trust me, I have PCOS, and without treatment, miss them quite often. The best advice, when in doubt, talk to the doctor, and use birth control if you don't want to be pregnant, (even though it doesn't always work, ask my sister-in-law).

hi ,i've taken four pregnacy and there all positive and i had a normal period and now some spotting ,very light cramping and i'm just wondering if this is normal.i have two other children and never bleed for them pregnacies
