Ok everyone, Im worried...i had s_x for the first time and 2 weeks later my period came 5 days later but lasted a whole week and for 3 or 4 days it was heavy...now my period is 5 days late again and still hasn't started...I don't have any symptoms except for my stomach seeming to get bigger i may be imagining it since I'm worried...what do u think??

Here is the answer to many of the questions posted here.... it's normal for periods to be late, to bleed more heavily or less during a cycle and to have cramps, spotting, two periods in one month and so on.. just because you have s_x doesnt mean your pregnant. It is actually hard to get pregnant. Bloating doesnt mean your pregnant, nausua doesnt either.. It seems more girls are wishing they were when in fact, there not. Use a condom before your next post is on a HIV message board!

my bf and i made love last month and he did wear a condom. But i took the morning after pill just for safety. My period came after that, it's not little or abnormal but was quite a heavy flow. And i was having brown v____al discharge for the past few days this month. Is this normal? I couldn't be pregnant ryte? Or i'm infected with a disease or sumthin? HELP pls...i'm worry sick. thnx

it is normal for some girls to get their period while they are pregnant because it happened to me on june2005 i had my period for 2 days only.i was trying to have a baby. i thought i wasan't on july05 it didn't come at all i'm like ok wats wrong with me. on August 05 my period started to come down like a regular period but 3 weeks late my period was suppose to come down.then i thought i was having a irregular period now it turns to be that now on sept05 my period had to come down on the 9 but it didn't cause i had guess since it came down 3weeks ago it won't come. anyway at the end it turned out to be that i am pregnant which i only turned 3 months so check that out

I have not taken a pregnancy test yet because i figured to get the most accurate result was after a missed period...i have always had a pretty much regulated period(once in a while alittle late) well the day right after my last regular period ended i had intercourse an after intercourse i had very light spotting an i figured maybe it was just like the end of my period or something!!! well about a week or so later i was feeling kinda sick to my stomach.. no vomiting!!!! my b___st seemed to be alittle tender an sore they dont seem to be swollen or changing ... i ended up getting what i think might be my period but it is a week earlier then normal and since i started to bleed i have been very tired an getting almost like hot an cold flashes really bad.....normally the day before my period an the 2 days of the beggining of it i have really bad cramps...well this time i only had very light cramps the 2ed day...an iv been bleeding for 5 days the 2ed day i had a somewhat heavy flow an the rest were very light!!! im confused about whats going on with me right now!!! i dont know if it could be a medical condition a possiable pregnacy or a possiable miscarriage!! i would apreciate any help or thoughts thanks!!!

I have been haveing unprotected s_x with my boyfriend, but every time we did it he pulled out,except for one time which was the last.about 4 days after I took the emergency contraceptive pill. and that night i began to bleed.when i took the second pill my period completely stoped and now it's back.what should i do?

Yes you can get a period during your first part of pregnancy it is com mon for women to get at least one period during pregnancy

i would think so....u have to miss a period in order to think your pregnant. u can have all the symptoms but never no till u go to the dr. right now ive had 3 healthy pregnancies with no bleeding.now i feel very pregnant with 2 urine pregnancy test showing neg. one by me and one by dr. impending a blood test result...last normal period june21-26 now just right around my reg. period time for 4 days light pink ,one month i remember pinkish brownish.....good luck im 31 and praying this is a healthy pregnancy...

My mother had four pregnancies without any bleeding at all. Then with her third she did not know she was pregnant until she was three months along because she was still having periods. I am going through much of the same thing. I am 28 and have three children. For the last few months have been experiencing many symptoms of pregnancy. Bloating, mood swings, gaining weight which is unlike me, feeling like my head is going in a zillion directions, very tired and just overwhlmingly not like myself. I have still had my period though. I had one in July, two in Auguest only 18 days apart and different and another this month but still just don't feel right. I am now starting to experience what I feel is movement in my abdomen. Having three children before I know what it feels like. Although I do know about wishful thinking and making somthing out of nothing. I am not exactly sure what is going on. I know I should test but nervous. Just needed to get all of that out to people who are in similar situations. Thank you for reading. So all in all knowing that my mother had periods during her fith pregnancie it is quite possible to have thme while pregnant.
