Can you get preganant during your period.

You can still get your period.. but you maybe like 14 to 18 days late and it may go one like that for 3 months.. the only way you can really know forsure is if you go and get a blood test done... thats how my friend found out that she was and is...

Hi all... I'm hoping someone can help. I've been off the pill for two months now. My first month of trying, my period came 5 days early and was quite light, but not light enough not to wear a pad. So, I a__sume I'm not pregnant and we try again this month. Now, my period was a full week late and it started with a very, very light spotting, but today it's gotten heavier, but not as heavy as it usually was. I've been feeling a wobbly in my stomach, a bit headachy, and very light cramps.. Is it worth buying a HPT or not ? I mean, a full week is nothing to sneeze at and I was so hopeful... Thanks for any help or info anyone can offer...

The answer is no. You cannot have a period while pregnant. Bleeding that happens while pregnant is not a period. The definition of a period is the shedding of the uterus lining that has been made to accomodate your baby, if no pregnancy happens, it is shedded and then the cycle happens all over again. If you think you are pregnant, the best advice is to go see a doctor and get a blood test done. A lot of women bleed while pregnant, but that doesn't mean it will end in misscarriage. I have read a lot about bleeding while pregnant and about misscarriages. So if you think you are pregnant, go see a doctor, that's the best advice. good luck to everyone!

My GF has been getting sick lately, getting red in the face, and feeling light headed, She had a ligher period this time around and it only lasted 3 days rather than the usualy week. With most women , it is harder to conceive due to the condition, but if she has had her period for the past two months, I wouls say that it is very unlikely that she is pregnant, but is she showing any signs eg stomach getting hard, tired, feeling sick, consatipation, sore back?

I was on the depo shot and I got pregnant. I took 2 hpt both positive...went to the doctor and that test was positive. Yesterday I was spotting a little with some cramps then today i'm bleeding so heavily it's like i'm having my period. I'm not sure exactly when I became pregnant because I was on the depo shot. But I'm guessing around the 2nd week in June. Could I be having a miscarriage?
