That's true. I didn't want to take the place of the nurse that made me so frustrated by preaching to you all the things you should and shouldn't do. You said that you had a high risk pregnancy so... I just wanted to let you in on some things that may help your baby get through it okay.
You mind if I ask what surgeries you had?

hahaha amanda she can sleep with a blanket at her age OMG austins crib is a MESS first his has to be elevated because of his sleeping issues, then he has two stuffed dogs, two cats a rabit a elaphant and a GIANT turtle that he uses as a pillow, then he has a toy drill some lego and his bottle and soother, then he has three blankets on top of that!!! HAHAHA she would loose it if she say austins crib and he has always slept with things in it! i mean your little one is old enough dont even worry about that! even if she was a few months old sleeping ON the blanket is perfectly safe, people get scared tho and medically if we give advice like that and something happens we can get suied.... sooo dont tell anyone i gave you this medical advice!! HAHa good luck finding me anyways!! and we are glad she didnt scare you off madsky! how are things going?

Haha I wouldn't sue her anyway. Like I said she's been a great help to me. I'd rather people be honest then just tell me to do things because of the .0001% chance something bad will happen. Facts! I want facts! Anywayyy haha I'm still keeping that blanket in her crib. You'd have to pry it away from me because she will not sleep a wink without it. I can't wait to put her in a toddler bed so it'll actually be comfortable.
Anyway. Didn't mean to make this post about me :3

Things are going pretty well, still not homeschooled which sucks when it comes to waking up with that horrible feeling D;
Hahaha I feel like I'd be one of those moms that freak out over every little thing. And the surgeries were on my stomach one was for my gastric reflux but then the other was just an exploratory one. Where they poked around to find out what was wrong
Oh my gosh I love chimichangas lol . I don't think I'd sue someone for giving me their opinions I mean it's my fault for listening to somethin I don't know if it's true.

Oh it takes a while to transfer schools. I had to remain in public school for 2 weeks and I had just checked out hahaha, then I had to be out of school for another 2 weeks while my paperwork was being transfered. Then I had an interview with my teacher, and made an appointment date and THEN I got to do some school work hahah.
I AM one of those mom's that freaks out about every little thing haha. It drives everyone crazy. I'm like "What is she playing with? Don't hold her like that! Is she too cold? She feels warm does she have a fever? OMG this mole wasn't here before!! No wait that's just dirt. Get that cat away from her! She can't stand up against that, do you WANT her to bash her head open???" It's weird because I'm usually a fairly laid back person. Hm, well there goes that personality trait :D
Hmm if there weren't any complications during the surgery what's the risk? Did a doctor tell you that you are at risk or are you drawing your own conclusions ^_^
Oh and the nurse wasn't really giving me her opinion she basically said "Get that blanket out of your child's crib or she's going to DIE from SIDs or suffocate." She was trying to scare me into taking it out, but I'm taking all the necessary precautions (having the blanket tightly tucked, and making sure she is at low-risk for SIDs, which she is... very, very, low risk)

well you say you wouldnt sue someone for giving you advice unless you knew it was true, but most people beleive us as doctors and nurses, they dont question us they a__sume everything we say is 100% right and soooo yes they turn around and sue when something goes wrong. and omg MadSky i LOVED mexican food when i was pregnant everything was mexican hahaha thats funny that you say that, homeschoooling takes a bit to get into but its worth it as lonmg as you do it!!

Sorry I haven't been on lately ladies. So much has happened! I went and saw my doc and she put me on an all liquid diet D; jello and chicken broth only. This is killing my stomach mann. Hormones are going crazy, definitely scared the bf a few times this last week ;D I still don't know what I'm going to do, and I'm getting more and more scared by the minute. Then I've been having problems believinng a word anyone says to me. Like my friends will be like oh you look really pretty today and I'm like YOURE LYING and start crying hahha there's more stuff worse then that but you get the drift.
Amanda I heard you got a job :] congrats
How's everyone?

It sounds like you are suffering from those pesky early pregnancy hormones. It's normal and it's worse with the stress and uncertainty you are already experiencing. Your body takes awhile to adjust to them, so it'll get a little saner but it's still going to make you an emotional crazy person in comparison to your pre-pregnancy self! If you always remember that, it helps to keep things in perspective. Like your friends telling you you look pretty...well those hormones get on you bad about the way you look so you're going to feel like it's a frigging conspiracy! LOL! Just remind yourself it's the hormones and try to laugh at yourself.

Haha--"a while to get used to them" that's the truth. 9 months postpartum I'm STILL a hormonal mess. When your friends say you look pretty today, it's probably true! Sometimes the hormones pregnant women get make them look prettier. It's called "the pregnancy glow" and it is only for the lucky... it certainly didn't happen to me lol
How long are you supposed to stay on the all liquid diet for? The whole pregnancy? Cuz... jeez that sucks.
Anyway it's good to hear back from you. Try to limit the stress in your life. If you start to feel stressed out, about anything (not just pregnancy) I find it makes you feel a lot better to come here and post about them. The girls have a tendency to, you know, give good advice ^_^

You're so right about that Gucci. I worried my b___t of during my pregnancy and I worry about everything Ellie touches now. She has never been seriously hurt, never had any health problems... All these white hairs for nothing lol! I need to chill out :D
