ight so, i had an abortion on the 4th of may. i was just wondering if anyone could tell me how long it takes for hormones to leave the body and how long it takes for periods to get back to normal. i ws due on my period on the 20th may. im a bit worried as i had unprotected s_x as soon as id stopped bleeding as i didnt think it would be possible to get pregnant straight away. im not having the same symptoms as last time, however i did bleed a bit the dy i was supposed to get my period and spotted a bit the day after, i feel sick after eating, im gettin headaches and i keep crying for no reason at all. i did 4 pregnancy tests between the 21st and 26th and all came up positive, but iv been told these could be the same hormones as last time i just dont know whats happening! help?

you might wanna get checked over with ur doctor because usaully after a abortion you bleed for a couple of days quite heavily did the midwife or doctor who gave you the abortion not tell you this?

Those hormones should be fading fast after 3 weeks. Do another home preg test first morning pee on Monday, 6 weeks after your procedure. If you get a strong positove, you will need a return trip to the doc. GL!
