how do you tell your parents that you're pregnant.
i'm not pregnant yet but i think i might be.
my mum doesn't even know i'm having s_x.
my boyfriends mum does. which is sort of a releif.
i'm only 17 and i'm so not ready to have kids yet!
how am i meant to tell my parents if i do end up getting pregnant?

Hi Jaxs - well short answer - if you plan on keeping the baby then yes you will have to tell your parents - they are going to find out sooner or later. So have you mised a period or anything? If so maybe do a pregnancy test. At least then you know one way or the other - also I would suggest if it turns out you arent pregnant then go on some form of birth control asap - especially since you state you are not ready for kids - dont risk it !! Goodluck and I really hope for your sake you arent pregnant - let us know what happens.

Before running away with all these ideas, you need to slow down and actually find out if you are pregnant first, otherwise you are worrying for nothing. It's always nervewracking telling your parents but, it has to be done, they are going to find out eventually anyway. I think it's better done sooner rather than later. Only you know how she usually reacts to things. If your bfs mum knows, then maybe, IF you are, you could tell her first and she can give you some support telling your mum.
