I am 30 wks pregnant (2nd pregnancy) and last night for about 4 hrs I had a constant throbbing pain in my lower abdomen. It was more on so on my left side, and sometimes there would be waves of sharper pain. Baby was making twitching movements the entire time (almost the same as when he has hiccups). It was really uncomfortable to lay on my left side putting pressure there. I ended up falling asleep more on my back and then woke up this morning to the pain being gone, but it's still uncomfortable when I lay on my left side. Last night I was really worried, but now this morning that its gone I am suspecting it may have been baby putting pressure on some kind of organ (??)...I am not sure...I am looking for some feedback. BTW it wasn't cramping pain, BH pain or stretching ligament pain. I know what all of those feel like. Thanks! BTW I also have my suspicions that this baby isn't in the head-down position yet as I feel most of the kicks and movement in my lower abdomen.

Oh baby is also still moving/kicking lots this morning so a decrease in movement isn't the issue here. hehe.
