Excessive Thirst Not Diabetic

Im 37 weeks pregnant and constantly thirstly.......am drinking 1 litre of water during the night and around 5 pints of water of diluted fruit juice during the day....also crave diet coke and 7 up. Its driving me crazy!!! Blood sugar levels ok....anyone else experiencing this?

I'm right there with you. I am always thirsty!!!! Plus, my blood levels are good too. I have actually been pretty thirsty through this entire pregnancy (I am 36.5 weeks). Not sure why...but you are not alone!

so glad to hear that! Im due on 22nd March and thirst still the same:-) have been told it will stay like this too if i b___stfeed..........nightmare! LOL Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy..

What I find so interesting is that no matter how much I drink, I don't seem to 'pee' any more. How can that be? Where would all this liquid be going???
