I have a hard time breathing lately. I actually start choking and gagging but I don't get sick. I think the baby is in my lungs and making it hard for me to catch my breath. Anyone have these symptoms and what works for you?

I have had a difficult time breathing, too, but I've never gagged or choked. Maybe thats something you should mention to your doctor? Whenever it gets back for me I try to have good posture and focus on taking deep breaths (as deep as I can). Making myself yawn sometimes helps too, but really the best thing for me is going outside and getting some fresh air. Good luck.

I had a hard time too for a couple weeks but then the baby dropped a little and it helped a lot. Try to stretch out and kind of arch your back to give your lungs more room to expand. Sounds also like you could be developing asthma. It's common to choke and cough until you throw up with asthma (I did it as a kid until I got diagnosed). Talk to your Dr. and see if they can try you on something to help.

If your baby is up high enough it can actually get in the way of your lungs and make it difficult to breathe, or so I've read. I wouldn't worry too much unless your baby is low, then it might be something else and I would recommend talking to your doctor. Eh, talk to him anyways, it must be awful not being able to breathe on top of everything else, he might be able to provide some helpful tips that will allow you to catch your breath. Good luck.
