What's up, woman? Last I heard, you were on your second pregnancy (so very sorry to hear about the m/c). If I recall correctly, you should be due sometime soon, if you haven't had your bub already. How are you doing?

Hey Sims, great to hear from you! Man, I'd have sworn you were both further along. Wow, there's still so much excitement ahead of you! Have you done a 3D yet? Do you plan to? Can you believe Jack just had his 4 month appointment?! He's so adorable. He's a happy little boy and smiles and giggles and talks so much (incoherently, of course). He's really got personality now. He's going to have a new cousin in July or August. Would you believe that my sister never even had a period after her son was born? She thought she had one when he was 7 months old, and it turns out she was already 3 weeks pregnant by then! Damn, may I be so lucky (except maybe a little later, since I had a c-section). So who else is still around? I'm sure I've missed hearing about some babies being born, since I don't check in all that often anymore. I just don't have the time since I went back to work. Again, nice to hear from you!

Hey Lin, that's so awesome. I'm so darned happy for you and little Jack. : ) I just can't believe how long it's taken us to get pg or have babies, that now it just feels like yesterday i was getting advice from you. we have a 3d scan scheduled for march 22. but i realized that might be later than it should be, so i might call and try and bump it up. apparently you're more able to become pg after having a baby. but i swear i'm so done with being pg, it's not my cup of tea. so i would be crying if i became pg 7 months afer having a baby. so how about you, when you thinking about trying for the next one? not sure who's still around, i think dabonk had her baby a couple of months ago, rainbow and a couple others are about to have their babies soon. and then there's the trail end of it me and krissy who are a few months away. and that i think pretty much will complete that era of "signs of pregnancy". until of course we all start trying for the seond ones hehe. but i'm so happy for you and your husband, i know a lot of us were when you got your bfp. it was a long bumpy road -for a lot of us, but i really felt your pain. btw has your dh tried taking pycogonol? my brother used that and it help them go from a 0-1% chance of fertility to a 15-20% chance. check it out when you get a chance.

Krissy! Yay, you're there! I look forward to reading your post. Sims - yeah, I had him on Pycnogenol, Lycopene, Coq 10, L-Carnitine, L-Arginine, and a host of others. The poor guy was choking down a handful every night. What a trooper he was. But hey, I don't have too much pity for him since I was the one sticking needles in my belly! I certainly hope we don't have to do that again, but at least next time I have the knowledge I gained from it all. I'm not sure when we'll start trying for the next one. My doc wants me to wait until at least 8 or 9 months. We'll see. I don't want my kids to be too far off from my sister's in age. I know what you mean about being over pregnancy, though. Mine was a smooth one, but by the end I was very much over it. I'm glad Jack was early. When my sis told me she was pregnant again, I just couldn't fathom the thought! Hey, I can't remember, do you know the baby's gender?

OKay! So I finally have a moment in my day where I can post without any interruptions! Sorry it took me so long and LIN I hope you're still around. Anyway, like I said I am astonished that your little guy is already 4 months old. It seems like just ysterday I was in Mexico and you and I were having our little b___h fests, LOL and now it's been going on 2 years! WOW! It's also very exciting news about your sister but even being 23 weeks and 2 days now myself I can totally tell how you would want to wait just a bit before thinking about another LO. Will you go for the fertility treatments again or will you try an go au natural this next time? As for me, like I said I am 23 weeks and 3 days. My pregnancy has been pretty uneventful putting aside ma__sive acid reflux and constant achey body. But I really have no real complaints. Samantha Marie (my bub) was gonna be due on June 23rd, they then said she was measuring a couple days ahead and kept moving my due date up. Now she is measuring a week ahead and my new EDD is June 16th. So we'll see when she plans on arriving. Yesterday I went for a follow-up u/s to check out her heart because at the 20 wk scan they couldnt see it very well but yesterday all looked fabulous. They said, though her belly is ranging in the 95th percentile in size though which can either be just normal and genetic or it can be a sign I have gestational diabetes. I see my OB again this Thursday to discuss that and what precautions I should take etc. I hope I don't have it cuz I love me some ice cream... :( LOL If you wanna see some pics of me, my belly and my little Sammi go to here ---> preciosa1984.piczo.com/?g=44580815&cr=7 <------ take out any - you may see cuz there shouldn't be any... do you have any pics of you or Jack??? How did the birth go? I don't remember if you ever told me? Anyway, it is so good to hear from you. Kinda sorta like old times. ;) Hope you can jump on a bit more often and we can chat. Hope life finds both you and your little guy very happy and healthy. TTYS ~Krissy

LIN! Wow, Jack's now over 4 months. I'm wondering where time goes. How amazing that your sister got pregnant again so quickly. Sims1, I recognise you from the SOP board too, hope your pregnancy is going well. Hi Krissy ; )
I haven't tried dh on the Pycnogenol, I've heard that's for morphology issues, would that be right? That's the only thing that is actually ok. Dh is on, as well all those that LIN mentioned, pentoxifylline which sounds like it does the same job as the Pycnogenol from what I've just read quickly. LIN, if you get a chance could you remind me what your dh's SA were like prior to conception. You O'd ok by yourself if I remember correctly? We've just done our 2nd IUI and hte Ob has refused to do any more & recommended ICSI. Still fighting it though!

Hi Harriet, i rememeber you too. Lin is the expert on those drugs but i know from my brothers experience who had low count, and bad morphology everything combined the dr's basically told my sil and bro that they zero percent in fertility thats even with invitro. so thats when my sil did some research and found the pycengonol and he was on it for three-four months and they tested him again and found improvement in both count and morph and that's when they went ahead with the invitro. myself on the other hand had maybe pcos, definately hypothyroid and was put on metformin, as well as synthroid, and then did a round of letrozole and IUI back to back. it worked on the first go. i was so amazed adn surprised. so don't give up on the IUI.
